Li Jun Ying’s will reports Fairy Bai Qing already went to the source days earlier, and Xu Hao’s will reveals Feng Jiu Ge secretly helped her advance to rank seven before he left. Second supreme elder calls it a blessing, orders her rewarded with a rank seven Immortal Gu of her choosing, and sends no reinforcements, only word of the sect’s intentions. ^{ch. 957}

A rumor spreads that the sword lights are arrangements Bo Qing left before he perished, meant to let him choose a worthy inheritor. Shock turns to greed.
