Jian Yi Sheng is a metal path demonic Gu Immortal active around Tian Ti Mountain who challenges Fang Yuan after the Hu Immortal Inheritance contest.
A flying sword letter Gu reaches Fang Yuan full of abuse and threats, and he recognizes Jian Yi Sheng as the sender. His appearance and personality are very perverted, most skilled at sneak attacks, and hating losses. In Fang Yuan’s previous life he ambushed Fang Yuan many times until Fang Yuan forced a twenty-year retreat into a blessed land and a kneeling surrender. ch. 418
In the present timeline he has no Immortal Gu when he meets the blue charm lightning shadow Fang Yuan threw toward the mountain, is thrashed by it, escapes into his blessed land, then sends the challenge letter once he learns who discarded that land. When Fang Yuan discards a large stretch of blessed land onto Tian Ti mountain, Jian Yi Sheng appears first with a sword flash and shouts that the land is his. Blue charm lightning shadow catches him unguarded and blasts him away; he fights it, then rages when other Gu Immortals seize pieces of the land while he was occupied. He Feng Yang covers his face and calls him a complete disgrace to Gu Immortals. Jian Yi Sheng sends another flying sword letter Gu into the blessed land. Fang Yuan later treats that letter, beside Feng Jiu Ge’s, as proof of how useful a fake Immortal Crane Sect disciple identity is for driving other forces away. ch. 420

He is called a well-known lone immortal of Central Continent, proficient in the killer move sword escape. ch. 1744
After Mi Lan Guang exposes that Jian Yi Sheng destroyed electrolytic iron starflowers with sword path methods, Jian Yi Sheng turns into a sword and flees; the chase then shows he has already advanced to rank seven. He boasts that even at rank six his sword escape left many rank seven Gu Immortals without options, and that he has now advanced that move to rank seven. ch. 1744
