In Thunder Peak Mountain Range he fights as one of Mi Lan Guang’s two opponents: a middle-aged man in scholar’s attire with large sleeves, an Eastern Sea Gu Immortal of rank seven cultivation who cultivates information path. He admits stealing one electrolytic iron starflower to research it because he cultivates information path like Mi Lan Guang. Jian Yi Sheng had told him of Mi Lan Guang’s treasury, and they used Central Continent’s chaos to steal the flower. After Mi Lan Guang reveals Jian Yi Sheng’s greater theft and destruction of the remaining flowers, Great Treasury Immortal turns on Jian Yi Sheng, offers to return the flower with its roots and compensate Mi Lan Guang, and allies to chase Jian Yi Sheng. He plants a tracking method that Jian Yi Sheng later cuts away with his right arm. When Mi Lan Guang explains everybody’s vision, Great Treasury Immortal realizes Mi Lan Guang is under people’s united hearts and that the alliance is a trap; a formation activates and traps him. ch. 1744
