The stone lotus island ambush Fang Yuan planned is over, and the mood in Heavenly Court’s Central Great Hall is grim. Nine Spiritual Fairy coughs blood and says Gu Liu Ru blocked Myriad Year Flying Warship at the risk of his life, so she survived because of him. Heavenly Court had the absolute advantage in the River of Time at the start but lost completely. All six Immortal Gu Houses were destroyed, and only two Gu Immortals, Nine Spiritual Fairy and Feng Jiu Ge, escaped. Feng Jiu Ge stands in the hall lost and perplexed. Fairy Zi Wei sends both survivors off to recuperate. ^{ch. 1884}

Fairy Zi Wei cannot work out how Fang Yuan obtained the stone lotus island without being sensed. Duke Long says they had guessed Fang Yuan might already hold a Red Lotus true inheritance. He now thinks Fang Yuan staged the warship’s earlier forced escape to lure their attention, contest Dragon Palace, prepare for this battle and make them underestimate him. He calls Fang Yuan a devious and scheming demon. If Fang Yuan got the island long ago, Fairy Zi Wei finds it very scary. Duke Long insists that Heavenly Court keep putting forces into the River of Time, since there is more than one Red Lotus true inheritance. Fairy Zi Wei agrees, though they must build six or even ten more Immortal Gu Houses. ^{ch. 1884}

Red Lotus Demon Venerable is the reason Heavenly Court is weak in time path Gu Immortals, and lacking great experts there, it relies on time path Immortal Gu Houses. Rebuilding them needs many time path Immortal Gu, and the two survivors brought back few. Immortal materials are no problem, but Heavenly Court lacks refinement path great experts. Yuan Qiong Du already repairs fate Gu and cannot take this on as well. Duke Long proposes rallying the ten great ancient sects to send their refinement path Gu Immortals, and Fairy Zi Wei nods. In Eastern Sea, Qi Sea Ancestor has defeated the famous rank eight lone immortal Zhang Yin in a single move, and his soaring reputation draws even more guests to his banquet. Duke Long says even he would find such a one-move win hard. After the fight, Fang Yuan declared frankly to the Eastern Sea immortals that his strength had risen again, thanks to the qi path true inheritance of Primordial Origin that he obtained from Heavenly Court. Duke Long takes this as a sign that he is close to Heavenly Court yet wants to stay neutral, and that he can be swayed. Above the qi sea, more visitors arrive after Zhang Yin’s defeat, and Qi Sea Ancestor is recognized as the number one Eastern Sea expert. The whole world is deceived. Zhang Yin is one of the Four Dragon Generals and cooperated with Fang Yuan, and the immortal formation under the qi sea gave the attack its powerful aura. Nobody knows that Zhang Yin is under control, and nobody guesses that Qi Sea Ancestor and Fang Yuan are one person. Xie Bao Shu, Zui Xian Weng, Seven Seas Snake Woman and Great Treasury Immortal arrive, and Zui Xian Weng brings a thousand jars of top tier wine as a gift. ^{ch. 1884}

Fang Yuan welcomes him with a light laugh, saying the sea draws in all its tributaries, and forms a seat for him. When Fang Yuan speaks, nobody dares ignore a single word. He expresses his political views, peaceful coexistence and mutual understanding, upholding justice and resolving conflicts. He declares the banquet a transaction event, an auction and a battle stage, where he will judge any duel and anyone may state requests or sell. He will hold qi sea banquets every year from now on and charge no transaction fees. The immortals praise him quickly, and Jun Shen Guang is shaken. He judges that Qi Sea Ancestor is increasing his influence in Eastern Sea, and that when the five regions merge it will reach all five. ^{ch. 1884}
