Appearance
He has a pale face and thin body, looks sick, and sits on a wheelchair. His body seems weak but his eyes shine with cold light. ch. 1715 Later he is sickly pale and thin as a skeleton, with the lower half of his body paralyzed with no cure, which leaves him cold and detached. ch. 1808
Early awakening
In this life Fang Yuan’s early attack destroys Eternal Yacht and Present and Past Pavilion and kills Qing Ye, so the ink effect wakes Gu Liu Ru in advance. Fairy Zi Wei is more excited about his appearance than about Li Huang even though Li Huang is stronger in pure battle strength. Gu Liu Ru says that when fate Gu is restored in a few years Heavenly Court will be invincible, and he agrees with Li Huang to deal with the Little Demon Venerable. ch. 1808
Previous life death
In the previous life only Li Huang woke at first. Gu Liu Ru woke in the final period when Longevity Heaven attacked Heavenly Court, fought Hei Fan to a deadlock, and was finally killed by Liu Liu Liu’s sneak attack. ch. 1808

When Fang Yuan rides Myriad Year Flying Warship into the River of Time for a second battle, Gu Liu Ru is waiting for him. ch. 1810 Fang Yuan enters with Myriad Year Flying Warship and Gu Liu Ru intercepts him. Sitting in the wooden wheelchair with a sickly pale face and ice cold eyes, he names himself Heavenly Court’s Gu Liu Ru and says he came to take Fang Yuan’s life.
