Chapter 1883

Heavenly Court gathers its forces in the River of Time, bent on getting Red Lotus’ true inheritance. Six Immortal Gu Houses and four rank eight Gu Immortals surround Myriad Year Flying Warship completely, and the warship is Fang Yuan’s whole side. Fang Yuan smiles that if he cannot have the stone lotus island, none of them will. He uses Myriad Year Hunting, fragrance spreads, and a year beast tide begins to form toward the island. In the previous life Feng Jiu Ge destroyed the island in the end, after Fang Yuan and Bing Sai Chuan had fought Heavenly Court over this inheritance. Fang Yuan now makes the same choice. ^{ch. 1883}

The year beasts do not tell enemy from ally and mainly target the warship itself, a weakness Heavenly Court already knows. Last time its immortals slaughtered the beasts and took most of the damage for the warship. This time Fang Yuan aims the move at the unfinished formation, so they have no choice but to fight the beasts. Gu Liu Ru calls him devious and sends Eternal Yacht and Shark Flow Lever out of the battlefield. Nine Spiritual Fairy jumps out of her Immortal Gu House and turns into an immemorial desolate beast. The two houses shine with auras like years flow like water Immortal Gu, and eighty percent of the tide rushes toward them. Nine Spiritual Fairy intercepts the other twenty percent and takes control of it. ^{ch. 1883}

A Gu Immortal inside the warship names her a rank eight great expert of enslavement path and transformation path. Fang Yuan’s will, since his main body is in Eastern Sea, notes that she did not wake in the previous life but wakes earlier this time. It is a very different situation. Heavenly Court analyzed the concept of myriad year hunting and resolved the tide before it fully formed. This is why Fang Yuan has concealed his strength, since daybreak sword, torrential charge and myriad year hunting are all countered once exposed. The four remaining houses press the warship, and Fang Yuan’s will stays silent when Gu Liu Ru dares him to use any method left. ^{ch. 1883}

Moment Stage, with Gu Liu Ru in it, leads the encirclement while the other three houses assist effectively, and the immortals’ battle strength has risen greatly through practice. Their morale surges, and they say the formation is almost complete. Then a grey stone giant stands up on the stone lotus island with a time path aura. It roars with the sound of a tiger, the formation shakes intensely, the immortals setting it up spit blood, and the paper cage formation breaks. The fourth group is called in to reinforce. ^{ch. 1883}

The giant gathers time path dao marks into a huge silver ball and throws it, and Gu Liu Ru forces Moment Stage into its path. Moment Stage is flung away and stops filled with cracks, with countless mortal Gu dead and many Immortal Gu injured. The aftermath damages the formation and kills many Gu worms. Moment Stage tries to charge the island but a formless force bars it, and a second ball completely devastates its front. Gu Liu Ru recognizes a familiar time path method that Red Lotus Demon Venerable left behind. He judges that for now he can only block by sacrificing Moment Stage to protect the formation, which will isolate the island, weaken Red Lotus’ arrangements and shield it from outside force. ^{ch. 1883}

The warship tries to break out in different directions, and the remaining rank seven houses can barely contain it. Gu Liu Ru comes out of Moment Stage and joins the encirclement. His skill in the River of Time stabilizes the situation. The river suppression lotus sealing formation is finally completed as a huge sphere around the island and the warship. It suppresses the giant and restricts myriad year hunting, so no beast tide can form. Eternal Yacht, Shark Flow Lever and Nine Spiritual Fairy return to the encirclement, Xing Ye Wang attacks with Shark Flow Lever, and Nine Spiritual Fairy circles behind the warship to prepare her killer move. ^{ch. 1883}

Fang Yuan says Heavenly Court is already trapped. The island erupts with light, and tens of water pillars shoot up and connect into the formation, which Heavenly Court loses control of. The giant grows chicken wings, tiger claws and a beak, and barges through the encirclement to clear a way for the warship. Gu Liu Ru identifies the Twelve Zodiac battle formation. The four rank eights conclude that Fang Yuan already holds Red Lotus’ true inheritance and controls the island, and that his time path foundation has grown enough to suppress their formation instead. They decide to retreat, but the formation they built is now their biggest obstacle. ^{ch. 1883}

Fang Yuan sends daybreak swords at Three Autumn Yellow Crane Platform and Shark Flow Lever. The giant slams its fist onto Present and Past Pavilion, which crumbles with severe injuries and deaths inside. Feng Jiu Ge barely escapes, and Moment Stage compresses its time into a moment, arrives at the crucial moment and takes him in. The giant turns to Sun and Moon Temple, a weaker house that cannot escape in time. A second explosion shatters it, and most of the Gu Immortals inside die. Gu Liu Ru cries out in rage, and the Heavenly Court immortals now only want to flee for their lives. ^{ch. 1883}

Above the qi sea in Eastern Sea, the guests look excitedly at Qi Sea Ancestor and Zhang Yin, the lone rank eight owner of the black soul sea area. Qi Sea Ancestor asks whether Zhang Yin can handle one move from him, and Zhang Yin answers arrogantly that it will be more than one move. Qi currents gather and pressure grips the immortals, and Zhang Yin stops mid sentence. A huge hand made of qi currents shrouds the sky and presses down, and Zhang Yin, struggling with all his strength, is fixed in the air. Song Qi Yuan and the other rank eights are incredibly shocked and fear he will die. The hand disintegrates as it reaches him and slams into the qi sea, which falls completely calm like a mirror. Zhang Yin, freed, thanks Qi Sea Ancestor for sparing him, and is told to take a seat. ^{ch. 1883}

The Eastern Sea immortals are stunned into silence and feel truly intimidated. Song Qi Yuan and Shen Cong Sheng stand and praise Qi Sea Ancestor’s divine might, and countless Eastern Sea Gu Immortals follow, completely in awe. Fang Yuan tells them all to take a seat, since the banquet is beginning. ^{ch. 1883}
