Myriad Year Hunting

Fang Yuan derived the move from immemorial year beast fishing formation and pushed it to its limit; with Years Flow Like Water Immortal Gu as the core and amplification from the River of Time, its power is extraordinary. Using Years Flow Like Water to attract year beasts and raise a tide is time path power; controlling that army would be enslavement path power, which he does not have here. Heavenly Court discovers he can only lure the tide, not command it, and that the beasts’ target is Myriad Year Flying Warship itself. ^{ch. 1812}

He had personally deduced the move and knew that enormous flaw, so he prepared bait aboard the ship. ^{ch. 1813}

Myriad Year Flying Warship’s four main killer moves are torrential charge, daybreak sword, daybreak torrent, and myriad year hunting, each rank eight. ^{ch. 1872}

Facing six Immortal Gu Houses around the warship, Fang Yuan activates myriad year hunting again; fragrance spreads, dao beasts resonate, and a year beast tide forms toward the stone lotus island. This is the warship’s strongest ability, yet the year beasts do not distinguish enemy from ally and mainly target Myriad Year Flying Warship; Heavenly Court already knows that weakness from the earlier fight. Heavenly Court cannot counter the move directly but analyzes its concept, lures most of the forming tide away, and later restricts the fragrance inside river suppression lotus sealing formation so no beast tide can form. ^{ch. 1883}

In a later Heavenly Court battle the same named move summons a huge year beast army that moves to Fang Yuan’s will, when earlier casts only attracted beasts without control. Heavenly Court’s side guesses that qualitative change comes from merging Twelve Zodiac battle formation, and likens the scale to a beast-side copy of Call of the Ancient. ^{ch. 1943}
