Chapter 1744

Mi Lan Guang, a Central Continent Gu Immortal, fights two thieves in Thunder Peak Mountain Range and demands that they leave behind the electrolytic iron starflower. They are Great Treasury Immortal, an Eastern Sea Gu Immortal of rank seven who cultivates information path, and Jian Yi Sheng, a rank six Gu Immortal of Central Continent. Jian Yi Sheng had told Great Treasury Immortal about Mi Lan Guang’s treasury, and together they used Central Continent’s chaos to steal one flower. The flower is a new information path and lightning path material that Mi Lan Guang grew himself. Great Treasury Immortal admits stealing it for research and threatens to fight to the death if chased further over a rank seven material. Jian Yi Sheng urges getting rid of Mi Lan Guang, and the other agrees. ^{ch. 1744}

Mi Lan Guang reveals that his valley held thirteen electrolytic iron starflowers: Great Treasury Immortal stole one, Jian Yi Sheng plucked three, and Jian Yi Sheng destroyed the rest with sword path methods. Great Treasury Immortal glares at Jian Yi Sheng, who can no longer fool him and escapes as a sword, having already advanced to rank seven. Furious at being duped, Great Treasury Immortal offers to return the flower, dug out with its roots, and to pay resources of equal value. The condition is an alliance against Jian Yi Sheng, and Mi Lan Guang accepts. ^{ch. 1744}

Jian Yi Sheng has not gone far, hoping they will fight each other, and boasts that with his sword escape now at rank seven they will probably catch him only in their next life. Both pursuers are information path Gu Immortals and track him down. Jian Yi Sheng cuts off his own right arm to shed the tracking method Great Treasury Immortal planted. After several rounds his immortal essence reserve is empty and he begs to know how he is tracked; Mi Lan Guang refuses, and Jian Yi Sheng escapes once more. ^{ch. 1744}

Mi Lan Guang says the tracking method is not his own but an arrangement of Genesis Lotus Immortal Venerable. Mi Lan Guang was once a lightning path Gu Immortal of Wind Cloud Manor, a Heavenly Court subsidiary, until he broke its rules, was crippled and expelled, and became a rank seven information path Gu Immortal. The move is called everybody’s vision, a human path killer move built on people’s united hearts, which lets Central Continent’s mortals, Gu Masters and Gu Immortals share vision. Any sighting of Jian Yi Sheng’s light or tracks reaches Mi Lan Guang directly. Great Treasury Immortal stops in horror, since whoever uses it is definitely under people’s united hearts and a righteous Central Continent immortal would absolutely not cooperate with an invader. Jian Yi Sheng reappears laughing that Great Treasury Immortal has fallen for their trap, many Central Continent lone immortals appear, and a formation traps the Eastern Sea immortal. The whole affair was a conspiracy, with the starflower as bait for the huge fish. ^{ch. 1744}

At the battlefield, Fang Yuan charges at Heaven Overseeing Tower while Di Zang Sheng holds Duke Long back. If Fang Yuan destroys fate Gu, the Heavenly Court plan fails completely, but if he cannot, the Southern and Northern immortals will be in a very bad position. The Tower releases Fate Vanquish, and Fang Yuan is greatly shocked that the interval before its reuse has shortened so far. Several Immortal Gu Houses on his side are destroyed completely, Gu Immortals and all. Of the two rank eight Gu Immortals right behind Fang Yuan, one is near death and the other unconscious, and the rest are badly injured. ^{ch. 1744}

The Southern and Northern Gu Immortals lose all morale in despair. Heavenly Court Gu Immortals cheer, and through everybody’s vision countless viewers across Central Continent, mortals included, watch and rejoice. A girl asks why only Fang Yuan did not fall, and others call him a complete otherworldly demon to whom Fate Vanquish is like harmless light. Heavenly Court Gu Immortals fly out of the Tower and hold him back from it. ^{ch. 1744}

His survival lights a fire in the Southern and Northern immortals, who call him their only hope left although they really hate him. The Heavenly Court Gu Immortals are astonished to see the enemy’s morale rise. Just as Duke Long orders Fang Yuan killed, Di Zang Sheng bites Duke Long, but its teeth leave only a few scars. Wu Yong commands the Southern Alliance immortals through treasure yellow heaven to help Fang Yuan breach the Tower and destroy fate Gu. Bing Sai Chuan calls it their final charge, and if it fails they will all die. Fang Yuan laughs and tells everyone to try stopping him, for either they die or he perishes. ^{ch. 1744}
