In Southern Border, Duke Long drives Heaven Overseeing Tower to burst with intense white light when Zuo Ye Hui charges the tower. The strike is Fate Vanquish, tied to rank nine Immortal Gu Fate; there is no way of dodging, and anyone below rank nine loses to the move. Gu Immortals exposed to the light, righteous or demonic, cough blood, suffer heavy injury, and most faint, clearing half the battlefield, while some shielded by dream realms are spared. Zuo Ye Hui is hit and crashes down but does not die, and Fairy Zi Wei notes that the tower cannot use the move consecutively while Fate Gu still has injuries. ch. 1359
