Destiny Song

In the River of Time, aboard Present and Past Pavilion, he has been comprehending Destiny Song all along. This life’s Lang Ya defeat and Chen Yi’s karma relocation give him the inspiration earlier than the previous life, and watching past and present lives from the pavilion helps the work. At eighty percent complete he finds that rank eight fate armor Immortal Gu cannot shoulder the grand and vast Destiny Song, and that he needs another luck path Immortal Gu as the core. He asks Qin Ding Ling for responsive luck Immortal Gu; she hands it over and gives it to him. The song distinguishes allies from enemies, which the previous life’s Destiny Song could never do. Focused on Di Zang Sheng, it returns the beast to the helplessness of Hidden Dragon Cave and slows the charge; Feng Jiu Ge names it his personal creation, just completed. Destiny Song can bring out the lows and highs of the destiny of all living beings. “Feng Jiu Ge’s ninth song, sound path rank eight immortal killer move, Destiny Song!” Zhan Bu Du says he created the complete Destiny Song. Fairy Zi Wei treats this one move as raising Feng Jiu Ge’s strength to the peak, among the strongest people in the world. ^{ch. 1942}

In Heavenly Court the song shrouds Fang Yuan throughout, cycling strong and weak, and triggers counterattacks from Reverse Flow Protection Seal. The profundities of the song weaken him even with that seal active, but the weakening is much smaller, and the same song amplifies Duke Long while it weakens Fang Yuan. ^{ch. 1946}

Fate Vanquish with Fate Gu as the core has no effect on Fang Yuan, but rank eight Destiny Song is of an even higher plane: it includes fate and also contains luck, so luck is effective against him. The song greatly weakens him, almost offsetting Heroes Among People. Duke Long cannot enjoy that amplification, yet Destiny Song is one of the methods empowering him. ^{ch. 1953}

When Feng Jiu Ge sings again, Heavenly Court’s immortals are not powered up; the three regions’ Gu Immortals gain the boost instead. Duke Long and Qin Ding Ling treat the act as betrayal. He does not stop singing, and at that moment he joins Fang Yuan and the three regions’ allied forces. ^{ch. 1962}

On the stone lotus island, Red Lotus Demon Venerable’s will has an incomplete destiny Gu recipe created according to the Destiny Song Feng Jiu Ge will create, of the same origin as that song. It cannot give him the complete song directly, because Fate Gu is not destroyed completely yet and will not allow this; the will converts the method into a rank nine destiny Gu recipe so he will comprehend Destiny Song in its initial form. The will says that for the following thousand years he will modify Destiny Song many times, that the last modification will let the move grow by extracting destiny from Gu Immortals it hits, and that as long as Fate Gu exists the song will be suppressed and sealed. On the battlefield he understands that he did not create a fate song: Destiny Song is the most honest thought in his inner heart. The song can raise Heavenly Court Gu Immortals and weaken enemies, but he is singing to understand his own feelings. He reads Fang Yuan and Red Lotus’s scheme as knowing his nature and not trying to convince him, instead using his own voice to convince himself. ^{ch. 1965}
