Duke Long judges that Fang Yuan has only two mature combat systems. Time path is the most comprehensive, with time cutting edge combined with shrink time and spring autumn success as its two trump cards. Fang Zheng and Qin Ding Ling fight year beasts and swordsmen, and Heavenly Court’s main force returns from Hairy Foot Mountain through Central Heaven Gate to help. Calamity Luck Altar becomes their focus, some enter Heaven Overseeing Tower, and Qi Ci Lang cannot move properly. Fang Yuan realizes Infallible blessed land has lost its purpose, since Heavenly Court has enough success dao marks to restore Fate completely. In her last clear thought she realizes that Spectral Soul has tampered with her soul through every soul search, influencing even her decisions before the Refinement Path Convention. She keeps Central Heaven Gate open and goes to Soul Suppression Hall, where she clears the shackles and frees Spectral Soul. Kneeling, she calls him master, with no trace of a Heavenly Court member’s pride. Extremely weak, he becomes a translucent soul sphere and says to watch the show first. Wu Yong, Wu Shuai and others appear on the battlefield through the gate. Duke Long, unable to contact Fairy Zi Wei, wants to destroy the gate, but Fang Yuan charges Heaven Overseeing Tower again and Duke Long must intercept him.
