Farewell Friend Wind

Daoist Black Heart created farewell friend wind after nearly ten years of closed cultivation, taking insight from The Legends of Ren Zu in his later years. It is a wind path method with human path profundities. It can only sense friends and target them, including fake friends and superficial friends with ill intentions. Wisdom path deductions later exposed that secret, and one exposed weakness is that the user must directly touch the target’s body. Southern Alliance immortals treat Wu Yong having it as equivalent to Fang Yuan’s reverse flow protection seal. Wu Yong says Chen Yi is the first person he has seen disintegrate so slowly, and the Southern Alliance immortals say no one has survived a hit. ^{ch. 1717}

The move is unorthodox, does not spread among people, and only targeted Chen Yi. Wu Yong’s farewell friend wind is rank eight. Feng Jiu Ge’s incomplete Destiny Song stops it, leaving Chen Yi with body and head. Fairy Zi Wei had treated Chen Yi’s death as certain because farewell friend wind could not be undone unless defended against beforehand; in history it had never been broken. ^{ch. 1726}

After learning that karma relocation can teleport killer moves, Wu Yong tries farewell friend wind on Chen Yi again. He has just touched the shoulder when he is teleported from Infallible blessed land back to Southern Border. ^{ch. 1740}

Inside Heavenly Court, Wu Yong cannot use farewell friend wind because Heavenly Court’s Gu Immortals had been sleeping in the immortal graveyard and he had no opportunity to become friends with them. ^{ch. 1932}

At Hairy Foot Mountain, Wu Yong uses farewell friend wind on Prince Feng Xian with the same friendship send-off. Prince Feng Xian floats and starts to disintegrate, unable to move or speak. Feng Jiu Ge’s Destiny Song stops the move again. ^{ch. 1942}

After the fate war, Wu Yong modifies farewell friend wind as his wind path attainment rises. It is a wind path killer move with human path effect. It originally needed the user to touch the target’s body and say parting words; he removes those limits. Friendship with the target is still required, and the range is greatly increased. He tests it on three unconscious mortals: no unique wind appears, and they disintegrate until nothing is left. ^{ch. 1997}
