He Feng Yang

If capture still fails he names Slavery Gu among ways to deal with a mortal. Supreme Grand Elder puts him in charge and forces him to hand over his one’s own way Gu for Feng Jiu Ge’s demand. ^{ch. 407} Other Gu Immortals already know he holds that Gu and note the heavy price of using it during the inheritance contest. ^{ch. 375}

He stays behind the scenes during the earthly calamity to protect elite disciples, block other Gu Masters, and help if Fang Yuan cannot hold. ^{ch. 419}

He later reads Fang Yuan’s material lists with growing apprehension. ^{ch. 421}

He then faces rockmen trade terms that lift sect pressure while he still wants guts Gu so disciples can enter the blessed land and, over time, plant traps inside it. ^{ch. 423}

After he became a Gu Immortal he joined third supreme elder Lord Tiger Demon’s faction. Lord Tiger Demon had earlier saved both him and the nine palace crane when he chose to sacrifice himself for the crane.
