Chapter 419

Tian Ti mountain stands at the center of Central Continent, 3000km tall. It is the land of inheritances and the mountain of saints, once the ladder of immortals. Immortal Crane Sect’s elite disciples have waited an hour for Fang Yuan, the brother of Fang Zheng. Some praise Fang Yuan for defeating Feng Jin Huang, Xiao Qi Xing, Ying Sheng Ji and others. One sneers that anyone could have won the blessed land with a supreme elder helping use Fixed Immortal Travel Gu, while another praises the elders for using Fang Zheng as a decoy. The sect lied to its disciples, who now believe a Gu Yue Fang Yuan belongs to their sect, and for three months he has been the hottest topic. ^{ch. 419}

Fang Zheng stands at the front, a walking corpse. After leaving Qing Mao mountain he swore revenge for his clansmen, and the goal drove him to cultivate harder than any disciple and to keep climbing Dang Hun mountain. But Fang Yuan appeared on the mountain top and took the inheritance in everyone’s view, and even Gu Immortals could do nothing. Lord Sky Crane consoles him: the sect paid heavily for Hu Immortal Inheritance, even an Immortal Gu, so personal grudges must be put down for now, for the big picture. Privately he worries. Revenge has been the pillar driving Fang Zheng, and giving it up is more fatal than any injury. The blessed land contains the forbidden ground of Dang Hun mountain, whose gutstones can surge the sect’s strength, and Fang Yuan holds blood skull Gu and Fixed Immortal Travel Gu, too valuable for an elite disciple to compare. Lord Sky Crane tells Fang Zheng to control his desire for revenge, not to attack after seeing his brother, since inside the blessed land he is no match. He Feng Yang has told him that Fang Zheng can be sacrificed if needed, and Lord Sky Crane would negotiate in his place. ^{ch. 419}

Fang Zheng, torn between pain and anger, agrees to try. Lord Sky Crane adds that a coming earthly calamity will riddle the blessed land with loopholes and cost Fang Yuan a huge loss, so the trip has a high chance of succeeding. Fang Zheng grows slightly more relaxed. ^{ch. 419}

The earthly calamity begins. He Feng Yang stays behind the scenes to protect the elite disciples, block other Gu Masters’ ill intent and help Fang Yuan if he cannot hold. Pieces of grassland appear on Tian Ti mountain, a large loophole of the blessed land that lets outsiders see inside but admits only Gu worms. On Lord Sky Crane’s order, Fang Zheng activates the lightning symbol paper crane Gu, and it flies in. The grassland image turns into a lump of primeval essence and dissipates, and the Gu returns to his hands after two rounds. ^{ch. 419}

He Feng Yang realizes that Fang Yuan is discarding part of the blessed land, probably fearing Gu Masters entering once the loophole becomes a tunnel.
