On Tian Ti mountain, loopholes appear ever more often while Immortal Crane Sect’s elite disciples and many Gu Immortals watch. After three tries, Fang Zheng sends the lightning symbol paper crane Gu into the blessed land. A letter sending green bird Gu also flies in, and He Feng Yang wonders what Feng Jiu Ge is doing. Then Fang Yuan discards 600km2 of land, and projected grassland fills the mountain’s waist. He Feng Yang is stunned. ch. 420
Jian Yi Sheng appears first and claims the land as his own. Blue charm lightning shadow catches him unguarded and sends him flying, and he fights it in a huge commotion. Over a dozen people then take pieces of the land at lightning speed, leaving him none, and he curses them furiously. He sends a flying sword letter Gu at Fang Yuan, an extremely fast Gu that can enter the blessed land even without a loophole. He Feng Yang covers his face, calling Jian Yi Sheng a complete disgrace to Gu Immortals. ch. 420
A bright white-gold light brings a red door thirty meters tall, and rainbow light carries Fang Zheng away. Little Hu Immortal cannot send blue charm lightning shadow or the swamp crab out, but sending one person is easy. The shadow descends as a lightning bolt, yet the door moves away in time, thwarting its attempt to enter. He Feng Yang is relieved that Fang Zheng got in. ch. 420
Fang Zheng finds himself on a grassland under extremely thick dark clouds, his Gu worms sealed. A smoky mirror shows Fang Yuan lounging in a chair, who greets him as his cute little brother. Raging, Fang Zheng calls him a demon who murdered the whole clan and charges at the image, which only scatters and re-forms. Fang Yuan laughs that the clan was going to die regardless, and that without his counterattack Fang Zheng would never have been brought back to Central Continent, making him a benefactor. Fang Zheng is extremely angered. Fang Yuan calls him a huge disappointment and a pawn, dismisses the sect’s promise to make Fang Yuan himself an elder, and offers to proceed with the transaction. ch. 420
Fang Zheng holds back his killing intent and relays the clan’s instructions: the sect wants the gutstones on Dang Hun mountain and will send disciples in batches. Fang Yuan interrupts, saying he does not believe the sect’s sincerity. He has no primeval stones and offers the swamp crab’s corpse in trade. A small lightning bolt lands in Fang Zheng’s hand: the lightning symbol paper crane Gu, refined by Fang Yuan, which lists the Gu worms and materials he wants and the swamp crab’s parts. Fang Zheng is transported out. ch. 420
Fang Yuan has land spirit check for anything suspicious. He did not meet Fang Zheng personally, fearing he might bring an Immortal Gu, which the blessed land cannot restrict. Nothing is found, and he relaxes. He judges his situation far better than expected: the sect shields him to devour the blessed land alone, and has already admitted he belongs to it, so dealing with him brings no rumor of allying with the demonic path. The fake disciple identity drives off other forces, as the letters of Jian Yi Sheng and Feng Jiu Ge show, while he stays alone in the demonic path and can trade for resources. He drops his plan to snatch connecting heaven Gu at Lang Ya blessed land. The sect will not let Hu Immortal blessed land go and deals now from wariness and lack of choice, so he must give the sect no weakness. ch. 420
Killing Fang Zheng would only raise aptitude a little, through blood skull Gu. It would make an enemy of the sect, outsiders would read it as betraying the sect, and the ten sects and demonic Gu Immortals would turn greedy eyes on the blessed land. Aptitude matters less than stabilizing the situation and converting the blessed land’s resources into his own strength. ch. 420
