Hu Immortal Blessed Land

Hu Immortal inheritance opens on Tian Ti Mountain for Central Continent's ten sects.

In Central Continent, at the foot of Tian Ti Mountain, elite disciples of the ten sects enter by competition ranking after months of selection. A fox-tailed girl greets climbers and says only the first to reach the peak obtains her.^{ch. 365}

Climb and land spirit

Inside, Hu Immortal’s will seals Gu so climbers cannot use any Gu and must rely on physical strength. The climb target is Dang Hun Mountain, whose soul shock grows stronger nearer the peak; the land spirit suppresses that might enough that failing climbers are sent out rather than killed. The fox-tailed girl is the Hu Immortal land spirit, and the first to reach the peak becomes her master and takes the inheritance. The contest among elite disciples is also a contest among the ten great sects behind them.^{ch. 366}

San Cha Mountain stretch

At San Cha Mountain, Fang Yuan addresses the three kings land spirit as Ba Gui while they argue over immortal essence and the plan to refine second aperture Gu. To keep Ba Gui’s help, Fang Yuan leaks the aura of Spring Autumn Cicada. Ba Gui names that aura as a rank six Immortal Gu, identifies Spring Autumn Cicada as a time path Gu, and ties its historical master to Demon Venerable Hong Lian.^{ch. 383}

Dang Hun Mountain aftermath

With a hole open in the blessed land’s sky, Fang Yuan self-detonates to drive Spring Autumn Cicada a third time and lands still inside that blessed land at a different moment.^{ch. 399} After rebirth he discards second aperture Gu as his objective and turns to refining Fixed Immortal Travel instead. In public he finishes that Immortal Gu under the light of glory (Xiao Mang’s torrential light stream) and by using undefeated hundred battles Gu. Ba Gui’s remaining immortal essence then activates Fixed Immortal Travel so Fang Yuan can leave; that essence is not what finishes the refinement. The same flight lands him on Dang Hun Mountain ahead of Feng Jin Huang; under the inheritance rules he becomes owner of Hu Immortal Blessed Land, and he calls the land spirit Little Hu Immortal to acknowledge him as master.^{ch. 405}

He Feng Yang recounts that after taking the inheritance Fang Yuan ordered the land spirit to close the blessed land, and Immortal Crane Sect elders treat Hu Immortal blessed land as already closed.^{ch. 407} Fang Yuan rests in Hu Immortal’s Dang Hun Palace; recollection there states that the land spirit chased the other competitors away once he became owner.^{ch. 408}

Mud on the mountain

Chapter 425 is titled Immortal Gu and Mud. Yellow mud from the swamp crab calamity eats into Dang Hun Mountain; Fang Yuan treats that mud as the hidden work of gruel mud Gu, and he leaves the blessed land by Fixed Immortal Travel for Northern Plains.^{ch. 425}
