Chapter 381

Bai Ning Bing is shocked when Fang Yuan appears out of nowhere. He asks whether she still wants Yang Gu. He cites their poison vow from Shang clan city. Gu Masters will soon besiege him, so he needs her as protector against any obstruction to his Gu refinement. He tells her the whole story, because hiding it could make the refinement fail. ^{ch. 381}

She is shocked that a land spirit still lives in this blessed land and that he is refining an Immortal Gu, and says he has truly large guts. He is looking for his own doom, she says. Told that he killed Tie Mu Bai, Wu Gui and Ku Mo, she is flabbergasted when he shows their Gu as proof. Tie Mu Bai, previous leader of Tie clan, was so feared that even Wu Lan Shan, cousin of the Wu clan leader, had to bow to him despite her pride. Even Bai Ning Bing feels stifled at the deaths of three rank five Gu Masters whose Gu he has taken. ^{ch. 381}

Fang Yuan says he will send her to King Quan Inheritance, since he needs as many dog beasts as possible. She says she never agreed to help, but he promises Yang Gu if he succeeds, and he will refine the Gu regardless. After leaving San Cha mountain she may part ways. She accuses him of forcing her with the poison vow, under which she dies too if he is killed while refining. Softening, he calls her Ning Bing and says this is cooperation, as it has been since Qing Mao mountain. He taunts her that Yang Gu would turn her back into a male, unless she has grown fond of her female identity, and provoked, she shouts at him to shut his mouth. He gives her a dog enslavement Gu and disappears, and the land spirit sends her to the first round of King Quan Inheritance. ^{ch. 381}

Fang Yuan appears before Wu Lan Shan, a rank five Gu Master who calms her mind within seconds. She recognizes him as Little Beast King and asks how he can enter and leave at will. A bone spear pierces her heart. She dies asking if he can use Gu. A mysterious light wraps her three rank five Gu and tears them away through space. Fang Yuan expects it, since Wu clan holds no loss Gu, a rank six Immortal Gu that retrieves precious Gu, and no blessed land can restrict Immortal Gu. He takes her rank four Gu, and beast placenta Gu swallows her aperture, the fourth rank five aperture. ^{ch. 381}

The aptitude reaches seventy-five percent, only thirty-five more than the forty that Tie Mu Bai’s aperture alone gave. Aptitude gains depend on each Gu Master’s foundation, and Tie clan’s huge resources made Tie Mu Bai’s the most profound. Of five rank five Gu Masters on San Cha mountain, Tie Mu Bai, Ku Mo and Wu Gui are at peak stage, Wu Lan Shan and Wang Xiao at upper stage, and Chou Jiu at initial stage.
