San Cha Mountain

Appearance

From the mountain foot the mass rises into three hills. Seen from afar it resembles a fork with three tips pointing at the sky, and the entrances to the three kings inheritance sit above those three peaks. ^{ch. 339}

When the mountain first enters the story, Zuo clan and Che clan are already fighting on its waist to occupy it. The peak sits between Zuo clan ground and Che clan’s Fei Lai Mountain. ^{ch. 323}

Both wordings keep Che clan’s Fei Lai mountain as the other neighbor. ^{ch. 323 ch. 389} Before the inheritance opens, the mountain is a local contest between those two expanding clans rather than a famous gathering site for the wider Southern Border. ^{ch. 323 ch. 340}

Inheritance opening event

When the inheritance opens, three light pillars, yellow, blue, and red, burst from the three mountain peaks into the sky, and a voice announces that the three kings inheritance opens that day for righteous and demonic alike. ^{ch. 323}

Origin and the crowds it draws

Fang Yuan calls the inheritance ground an ancient Gu Master’s blessed land. ^{ch. 325} Tie Mu Bai later names the same origin: a mysterious Gu Immortal’s blessed land that the three kings inherited and remodelled into an inheritance site. ^{ch. 374} The three kings themselves were demonic path Gu Masters who rose from roaming kids on the blessed land’s resources, failed to break through to rank six, and remodelled the place before dying. They walked refinement, fire, and enslavement path. ^{ch. 377} The three kings inheritance is a demonic inheritance. ^{ch. 326}

News of the three kings inheritance draws Shang clan and then Wu clan to contest the entrances. After that, news that the site is a rank six Gu Immortal blessed land pulls a wider wave of Southern Border Gu Masters until even Shang and Wu cannot keep the mountain under control. ^{ch. 326} Several months after the opening, the disturbance still pulls righteous and demonic figures into a slaughterhouse contest for entry quotas. ^{ch. 337}

Fang Yuan on the mountain

Fang Yuan plans for the three kings inheritance while still in Shang Clan City, including choosing the strength path as part of that plan. ^{ch. 275} He later tells Shang Xin Ci that he will leave the city with Bai Ning Bing for San Cha mountain. ^{ch. 328} On the approach, the two are already known as demonic path rising stars, the black and white twin demons, and Fang Yuan treats reputation through killing as a tool for the mountain stretch ahead. ^{ch. 337} On the mountain itself he states that what he treads is the demonic path. ^{ch. 344}
