Meng Tu is the middle-aged bald member of a rank three peak demonic assassination duo that takes a Shang clan mission against Fang Yuan and Bai Ning Bing.
On Huo Tan mountain, a necessary stop on the road to San Cha Mountain, he waits with Jiao Huang in an insignificant corner over a trap they spent several days preparing for Fang Yuan and Bai Ning Bing. Excited, he licks his lips over Shang clan’s ten thousand primeval stones and a yellow pair token. He calls his partner Elder brother Jiao Tu, argues the targets are only rank four initial stage, and names Xiao Fu Lu as a rank four they already killed. When Jiao Huang frets that Xiao Fu Lu’s death offended a Gu Immortal, Meng Tu shrugs it off and points to the prepared trap, then softens into excitement as Fang and Bai fall into it. ch. 335

After Fang and Bai clear the lava crocodile group, Meng Tu and Jiao Huang stay hidden with unsightly faces. Meng Tu curses that the youths are only around twenty and that forty years of their career look like a dog’s life beside them. When Jiao Huang says he would never have accepted the deal if he had known earlier, Meng Tu’s competitiveness rises; he argues they still have a chance if the pair clash among rank four and rank five experts at San Cha Mountain. Jiao Huang agrees and pats his shoulder, and they set out for the mountain. ch. 336
Waiting at San Cha Mountain
Far from a qi barrier fight, Meng Tu worries that if Bai Ning Bing dies to Tie clan their Shang deal falls through. He is at the prime of his life, both at rank three peak stage, famous demonic path assassins who killed rank four middle stage righteous path Xiao Fu Lu. If they could kill Fang and Bai they would be allowed to join Shang clan. The Huo Tan lava crocodile move already failed; they followed to San Cha Mountain and wait. Meng Tu adds that they may already have been discovered in the darkness. Assassins of their kind strike only when the success rate is high, and would rather give up a deal than force a low chance strike. ch. 354
Wounded retreat in blessed land
Meng Tu grabs Jiao Huang’s arm while blood flows without stopping from heavy injuries, calling him big brother and helping him keep moving with the majority. Jiao Huang thinks aloud that they made a huge loss accepting Shang clan’s assignment for Fang Zheng’s head, then fell into desperate straits chasing an immortal treasure. Both are rank three peak famous demonic assassins who once killed rank four Xiao Fu Lu; they meant to join Shang clan by handling Fang Yuan, and found no good chance on the way. ch. 394
Immortal Gu refinement shock
When Fang Yuan’s feat is witnessed, Jiao Huang and Meng Tu look at each other, trembling with shock, after-fear, and joy at the thought that they had the guts to assassinate a man who can refine an Immortal Gu. ch. 405
