King Xin Inheritance

When a Gu Master initially enters, heavenly power leaves only the key Gu usable; for this inheritance that key is paper crane Gu, listed beside the rank one dog enslavement Gu and exploding egg Gu of the other two king inheritances. ^{ch. 346} Among the three kings, King Xin is a refinement path Gu Master, and the inheritance is built to choose inheritors of that path. ^{ch. 347} On San Cha mountain the blue light pillar marks this entrance beside the yellow and red pillars of the other two kings, and the pillars shrink as more Gu Masters enter. ^{ch. 352}

When Fang Yuan enters, endless grey fog fills his vision, and Spring Autumn Cicada senses that time still flows three times faster than outside. He activates a paper crane Gu; heavenly power suppresses his other Gu besides Spring Autumn Cicada, and the crane floats ahead and leads him through the fog to a hill where a blurry human figure waits. Hairy men are the obstacles Gu Masters must clear to advance; losing means being torn apart and eaten. On the peaks the blue light pillar is named beside the yellow and red pillars of the other two kings. ^{ch. 356}

Like King Quan Inheritance, it is extremely cruel, and Gu Masters advance through blood and death. Difficulty rises every ten rounds, and the hairy men that appear grow smarter and stronger. In the early twenty or so rounds, flattery can disrupt a hairy man’s concentration so the refinement fails; from the thirtieth round the hairy men are huge and intelligent, and the Gu Master must compete fairly. Materials from the first twenty rounds can be saved for later rounds, a trick King Xin left in the setup. At about the thirty-second round, Fang Yuan finishes refining water cage Gu, used especially to capture wild Gu worms, before the losing hairy man is killed by thunder. From the fortieth round a Gu Master may use one refinement path Gu, and the inheritance begins giving corresponding rewards such as refinement path Gu, recipes, or primeval stones. On that early run Fang Yuan receives yellow gold relic Gu and footless bird Gu as King Xin Inheritance rewards, then leaves after the forty-fourth round when the inheritance offers a chance to exit. ^{ch. 358} Among the three inheritances, the early rounds are the easiest to push through by disrupting hairy men with words rather than fighting. ^{ch. 380}

Fang Yuan tells Feng Tian Yu that King Xin inheritance has an undefeated hundred battles Gu and orders him to bring it. ^{ch. 387} Feng Tian Yu reports that after the hundredth round and receiving King Xin Inheritance, he takes in several hundred hairy men. When two light pillars disappear on San Cha mountain’s peak, the blue and yellow pillars are gone, and Gu Masters say King Xin and King Quan Inheritance have been taken; some name Tie Mu Bai as the likely taker of King Xin Inheritance. ^{ch. 389}

Mo Wu Tian names King Xin as Wang Xiao Ya and says her inheritance has divulge information Gu and undefeated hundred battles Gu as part of the essence of the three kings inheritance. ^{ch. 391}
