Zhang San San

Wu Shen Tong claims top-tier enslavement path mastery in Southern Border and almost the best on San Cha mountain, naming only two threats: Wu Gui, who once walked enslavement path, and Zhang San San, a true enslavement Gu Master whose cultivation is inferior to Wu Shen Tong. In seniority Zhang San San is Wu Shen Tong’s junior. During a dog battle Wu Shen Tong wonders whether the opposing expert is Wu Gui or Zhang San San. ^{ch. 386}

Inside the blessed land Fang Yuan names Zhang San San as the next kill after Wu Shen Tong. Fang Yuan rates him only rank four upper stage, a stage below experts like Yi Huo and Kong Ri Tian, but the enemy with the most threat because he is an enslavement path Gu Master second only to Wu Shen Tong and Wu Gui. Fang Yuan kills him smoothly and from his aperture obtains a rank five slavery Gu. Fang Yuan guesses Zhang San San had held it for a chance at a rank five expert, since using rank five slavery Gu on a rank four target would be a huge loss, and later regrets not killing him first so the Gu could have subdued a rank five expert such as Tie Mu Bai. ^{ch. 387}

Later, when Bai Ning Bing’s dog command looks weak, Fang Yuan thinks Zhang San San, Wu Gui, or Wu Shen Tong could have held those dogs in a tight formation like an army. In talk over who took King Quan Inheritance, a demonic path voice names enslavement master Zhang San San as also having a chance of winning. ^{ch. 389}

After Fang Yuan returns with Spring Autumn Cicada and works with the land spirit again, he appears before the demonic enslavement path master Zhang San San, who has not reacted before Fang Yuan ends his life. Zhang San San is a rank four Gu Master but holds a rank five slavery Gu; Fang Yuan’s greatest motive for killing him is that Gu. In Fang Yuan’s earlier plan that Gu was needed to force Wang Xiao to give Wu mountain’s entrance, but that plan is discarded before this kill. ^{ch. 400}
