Yi Chong

His whole body is covered with blue fish scales that form thin armor. His nose is long and protruding, his eyes are more than twice a normal person’s size, and he has a head full of blazing unkempt hair. Muscle lumps tangle over his body. He is short but imposing, with an enormous triangular black fin on his back like a shark’s. ^{ch. 345} In later fighting the wind blows his fiery red hair, a light blue spiral wave surrounds him, and with the black fins on his back he looks like a fearsome shark. ^{ch. 393 ch. 403}

When the three kings inheritance opens, he charges from the north as Yi clan’s elder. Narration places him among the four rank four peak stage Gu Masters then strongest on the mountain. He and Wu Shen Tong look like allies while not being of one mind. After the other three take the three inheritances, he hesitates and chooses King Bao Inheritance beside Kong Ri Tian. ^{ch. 345}

In Fang Yuan’s previous-life memories, Yi Huo suppresses Wu Shen Tong and Yi Chong and defeats Kong Ri Tian and Long Qing Tian for a time. ^{ch. 355}

At a later opening he sneers and joins the spar against Yi Huo with blue water waves; he and Long Qing Tian change expression when onlookers name Yi Huo’s rank five Gu prairie fire. After Yi Huo enters King Bao Inheritance, Wu Shen Tong and Yi Chong enter King Quan Inheritance. ^{ch. 356} Tie Ba Xiu’s private roster still lists him among five rank four peak stage Gu Masters on the mountain. ^{ch. 359}

When Tie Mu Bai appears, he easily defeats Yi Huo, Kong Ri Tian, Long Qing Tian, Yi Chong, and Wu Shen Tong together. ^{ch. 370} Narration later says only those five rank four peak stage Gu Masters remain on the mountain among that earlier set. ^{ch. 373}

In the joint assault he charges ahead brave and fearless. None of the dogs can block him. ^{ch. 393} When Fang Yuan flees, Yi Chong rushes him shouting for the immortal treasure as waves crash. ^{ch. 398} In a later push he again charges with the same scaled shark bearing. ^{ch. 403} He is among those staring stupefied when Fang Yuan’s refinement is witnessed in the sky. ^{ch. 404 ch. 405}

Near Southern Border’s Sun Moon Sinkhole, after Kong Ri Tian flees and Empress Wu Ji pursues him over Sheng Tian true inheritance, Shang Xin Ci, Xiao Yan, Counterfeit Master, Tie Ruo Nan, Yi Chong, and others also descend from the sky into the chase. ^{ch. 2095}
