Chapter 370

Tie Mu Bai tells Tie Ruo Nan that Tie clan has long upheld justice at the cost of countless lives, and the dead youths will not be the last. He is gratified they did not die in vain but disappointed that she lives in vain, since little beast king Fang Zheng still harms people. He asks whether she wants to uphold justice. Recognizing him as the rank five peak stage previous clan leader who moved unhindered in Southern Border and pressed down Wu clan, Shang clan and other great clans, she answers yes. He begins to impart the metal path, the Gu path by which Tie clan Gu Masters stand atop Southern Border. ^{ch. 370}

Eight days later, three kings inheritance opens again, and San Cha mountain falls silent. Tie Mu Bai stands calmly on the peak, having just suppressed the combined power of Yi Huo, Kong Ri Tian, Long Qing Tian, Yi Chong and Wu Shen Tong. San Cha mountain’s power structure completely changes. ^{ch. 370}

Three days later, news says Divine Thief Lu Zuan Feng, a rank five Gu Master, repeatedly infiltrated Demonic Suppression Tower and disturbed Tie Mu Bai’s closed cultivation. Struck personally by Tie Mu Bai, Lu Zuan Feng was seriously injured and had a very narrow escape. Tie Ba Xiu’s death had angered Tie clan’s higher-ups, and as they prepared to reinforce the four old-timers, Tie Mu Bai said he would go personally. With absolute strength he easily prevailed over experts of both paths. ^{ch. 370}

From the peak he announces that no demonic Gu Master may enter three kings inheritance from that day. Swept off the mountain by one man, thousands of very angry demonic Gu Masters dare not defy rank five peak stage Tie Mu Bai, and Kong Ri Tian, Long Qing Tian, Li Xian and Hu Mei Er leave. Tie Mu Bai steps into the inheritance, which the righteous path greets with huge cheers. The opening lasts more than half a month. ^{ch. 370}

After the inheritance closes, Tie Mu Bai hosts an outdoor banquet for all righteous path Gu Masters. Yi Huo toasts him as a junior. Tie Mu Bai recalls Shang Yan Fei, reportedly now Shang clan leader, whose astonishing talent still falls short of the old man’s rank five peak stage cultivation, and tells Yi Huo he is not bad. Yi Huo sits sighing inwardly, his plan to rule San Cha mountain cut at its root. Yi Chong congratulates Tie Mu Bai obediently, and Wu Shen Tong flatters the old man, complaining that Fang Zheng escaped days before Tie Mu Bai came. ^{ch. 370}

Tie Mu Bai calls Fang Zheng outstanding, a lone riser from nothing who seems impulsive but plans meticulously and is very good at scheming. He says the Tie clan youths’ deaths at Fang Zheng’s hands were not groundless. Everyone is shocked that the victim’s family praises the enemy, and Wu Shen Tong, surprised, feels the old man’s gaze see through his schemes. Tie Mu Bai explains that admiring an enemy shows his strong points and one’s own weak points, and hatred should not deceive wisdom. Tie Ruo Nan understands this is meant mostly for her, whom he has guided since leaving the inheritance, giving her metal path Gu worms and his experience. ^{ch. 370}

Asked about Fang Zheng, Tie Ruo Nan admits that though she hates him very much, he is very outstanding, a risk taker and planner with a formidable and extraordinary investigative method. She says Fang Zheng alone sensed the very hidden path she and Tie Ba Xiu took and intercepted them, and alone sensed Tie Mu Bai’s secret arrival and fled early. She warns that he hides very deep and is absolutely not to be underestimated. Tie Mu Bai praises the analysis, says glory is more precious than life, and recalls that Ren Zu’s eldest son Verdant Great Sun died chasing it. He gives her Fang Zheng as a mission, to arrest or kill, and says Tie clan’s glory is generations who stand for what is right, not himself alone. ^{ch. 370}

Tie Mu Bai toasts the glory of righteousness and the demonic path’s end. The righteous path Gu Masters raise their cups and shout the same, and countless demonic figures change expression and mutter that his emergence is their bad luck. ^{ch. 370}
