Shadow Sect Blessed Land

The blessed land holds a sea where disciples take oaths, and deep within it sits the Door of Life and Death. ^{ch. 385}

On San Cha Mountain, Chou Jiu offers Fang Yuan knowledge of the Door of Life and Death to preserve his life, but only if Fang Yuan joins Shadow Sect. He names the founding ancestor as a rank eight Gu Immortal of the Immemorial Era who found that door and placed it into his blessed land. Fang Yuan refuses to join, mocks that a still-great Immemorial force would not leave Chou Jiu fighting alone in southern border, and presses slavery Gu and poison vow Gu; Chou Jiu stays frantic and still will not name the land’s location. ^{ch. 384}

Deviation (recorded): this page uses the Southern Border region field because Chou Jiu names the land on San Cha Mountain. Chapter 384 does not seat Shadow Sect’s blessed land in a five-region.

Chou Jiu says he once fell from a cliff into Shadow Sect’s blessed land, passed the land spirit’s test, and became a disciple when the sect had only him and a senior sister. He and that senior sister took an oath before the blessed land’s sea, cultivated together, and entered deep into the Door of Life and Death to capture life Gu and death Gu. After an earth calamity injured the land spirit and opened a hole to the outside, an injured Shang clansman entered; Chou Jiu later left the blessed land to hunt that couple across Southern Border. ^{ch. 385}

Narration places Old Man Yan Shi far away in southern border’s Shadow Sect blessed land as he watches connecting heaven Gu. The same stretch states that Shadow Sect blessed land benefited the cultivation of soul path Gu Masters. ^{ch. 492}

In Southern Border, narration calls Shadow Sect’s base Life and death blessed land, and says that land contained the Door of Life and Death, with a dream realm in front of the door. ^{ch. 984}

Fang Yuan states that the Door of Life and Death is inside Shadow Sect’s blessed land, and that Shadow Sect’s blessed land is at Southern Border’s Yi Tian Mountain, then engulfed by a giant dream realm. ^{ch. 1092}
