Northern Plains and Imperial Court

Fang Yuan enters the Northern Plains at chapter 426. Tribe camps, grassland weather, and strength politics open this stretch, and the Yu Tian heroes assembly closes it, Mo Shi Kuang overwhelming Hei Lou Lan's side until distant wolf howls announce an arrival.

Under the cover name Chang Shan Yin, Fang Yuan meets Ge Yao of the Ge tribe in the poison grassland, and the same exchange names Longevity Heaven as Giant Sun Immortal Venerable’s residence. Chapter 426 is titled Stepping into Northern Plains.^{ch. 426}

Tribe camps

Northern Plains power here runs through tribes and camps. Ge Guang appears as Ge tribe’s young tribe leader during a wind-wolf fight before the camp stretch settles.^{ch. 437} Fang Yuan uses the Ge tribe camp as a foothold while holding the Chang Shan Yin identity.^{ch. 439} Northern Plains suffers a great blizzard once every ten years, a storm that engulfs the whole region for months.^{ch. 440} Man tribe pressure arrives as a challenge and then an invitation.^{ch. 443} ^{ch. 444} Fang Yuan reasons that strength is the foundation of any scheme while Man tribe and Ge tribe press each other.^{ch. 449} After the night wolf fight, the old Ge tribe leader dies of fatal wounds and names Ge Guang as tribe leader before he expires.^{ch. 458}

Fang Yuan’s early recollection already names Hei Lou Lan as Hei tribe leader and, in that remembered timeline, lord of the imperial court.^{ch. 427} Prior-life memory first names Ma Hong Yun while recounting Chang Shan Yin’s buried fate, and Ma Hong Yun himself rises from slave to imperial court lord through a string of lucky breaks.^{ch. 431} ^{ch. 441} At Lang Ya he asks to exchange information for all information on Eighty-Eight True Yang Building in Imperial Court blessed land, and the land spirit recognizes the name.^{ch. 487} Mid-deal, before that exchange is finished, Lang Ya pours the building information into an east window Gu and hands it over. In a remembered timeline, Ma Hong Yun entered the building and took Giant Sun Immortal Venerable’s inheritance.^{ch. 490}

Yu Tian is one of the Northern Plains’ most abundant pasturelands, and its heroes assembly runs half a month before the gathered forces settle into two sides, Hei Lou Lan of Hei tribe against Liu Wen Wu of Liu tribe. The bloodlines Giant Sun Immortal Venerable passed on are collectively called the Huang Jin family, and that family holds supreme authority in Northern Plains.^{ch. 497}

Assembly brawl

Mo Shi Kuang breaks Hei Xiu Yi, sweeps the two rank three rescuers aside with an arm of condensed qi that kills spectators behind them, and charges Hei Lou Lan’s group, which tips the whole heroes assembly into open brawl; both leaders know a costly melee here damages their standing before the true contest for the Imperial Court begins, and neither can call a halt to it. A lone wolf howl then rises in the distance, countless more answer it, and the narration says the merged howl announces the presence of a beast emperor.^{ch. 498}
