IV Dead

Pan Ping is the tall, reddish-haired Hei tribe Gu Master with a gold-edged scimitar whom Hei Lou Lan first picks to challenge when Hei tribe faces Dong Fang army.

In the opening clash of the Northern Plains and Imperial Court stretch, Hei Lou Lan picks him from the volunteers for the first challenge; he laughs when chosen. ch. 508 Dong Fang alliance then sends Tang Miao Ming against Wolf King Chang Shan Yin before he can answer. After her fox formation collapses under the wolf tide, Hei Lou Lan asks who will capture her, and Pan Ping charges out and takes her. ch. 509

Appearance

He is tall and buff. His hair is reddish-yellow. On his waist is a scimitar with a gold edge and a silver handle. ch. 508

External elder and Wolf Killing Alliance

Inside Eighty-Eight True Yang Building he is called Sole Blade General Pan Ping, a demonic Gu Master who has joined Hei tribe as an external elder. By then he and Chang Biao are both rank four peak stage with large building gains, yet still judge their chance against Fang Yuan low without help. After Fang Yuan snatches an inheritance from him on Xing Jiu peak, he burns for revenge and presses Chang Biao to recruit into a secret Wolf Killing Alliance aimed at Fang Yuan. Chang Biao reads him as daring and cruel under the Sole Blade General name, and as too rash for righteous-path caution. ch. 576

New killer move

A silhouette flies out with six arms like heavy cannons. After the move he combs messy hair. ch. 577

Sole blade fame

Later challenges list him among Hei Lou Lan’s rank four Gu Masters as Sole Blade Pan Ping. ch. 525 Against Ouyang Bi Sang he draws the scimitar and activates sole blade Gu: a rank four Gu that can ignore defense with a chance of failure, then needs eight hours of rest before reuse. ch. 526 In an earlier duel he beheads Tang tribe leader Tang You with a bright white flash from that scimitar and gains sudden fame among rank four Gu Masters who had not rated him highly before. He had bought the scimitar at a tribal market, found a mysterious Gu living as cold light on the blade, and refined it without knowing its name until later battles name it sole blade Gu. ch. 518 ch. 526 That Gu resides in the scimitar rather than in his body or aperture. ch. 538

He is a demonic path Gu Master who lives a tough life at the start of the Imperial Court contest, then grows by exchanging battle merits for Gu worms after relying mainly on sole blade Gu. After Liu tribe’s three brothers blow him to bits, Tai Bai Yun Sheng revives him with man as before Gu; only sole blade Gu survives because it sits in the scimitar, and unused battle merits let him rebuild his set. ch. 538 In the Ma tribe war he uses sole blade Gu and luckily takes Ma Shang Feng’s head, rising to second on the battle merit board behind Fang Yuan. ch. 543 ch. 544

Death in True Yang Building

With Chang Biao he enters the seventh floor’s ninetieth round on a guest token, meets endless wolf groups, and cannot leave once Fang Yuan holds the floor with an owner token. They lean on the killer move six arm heavenly zombie king and on planted primeval stone hills until zombie speckles accumulate; Pan Ping dies first, cursing Fang Yuan as Wolf King before the end. Fang Yuan later takes their Gu worms and notes that sole blade Gu alone has collection value among Pan Ping’s set. ch. 580
