Inside Imperial Court blessed land, the deep blue mountain is like a lone vulture. Fang Yuan names it Xing Jiu peak and treats that shape as a heading marker: from his past-life knowledge of Gu Immortal Lord Tian Ku’s description, the place where the vulture’s gaze falls is the sacred palace. On the summit he finds many Gu Masters already gathered, including Pan Ping and Zhu Zai. ch. 550
Poet Immortal inheritance
Those Gu Masters had found an inheritance on Xing Jiu peak that opens every seven days with soaring starlight and a starlight door, while insect groups with wild Gu hold the entrance as a test. Fang Yuan takes charge of clearing a gap, then enters with his wolf group and leaves wolves to hold the door. Past the door sits a blue-metal courtyard that does not match any five-region style; after searching its six rooms he receives the inheritance and learns the master was northern plains Poet Immortal Du Min Jun, called Vagrant Lone Star, a rank five Gu Master who built his final residence on Xing Jiu peak and ended his own life there. The inheritance includes emotion poetry Gu, many star path Gu of northern plains types, and a set of Gu recipes from rank one a bit of star Gu through rank five five stars aligned Gu that strengthen star path Gu. ch. 550
