Two days later, Fang Yuan sees a deep blue peak shaped like a lone vulture. He recognizes Xing Jiu peak. By Lord Tian Ku’s account in Fang Yuan’s past life, the sacred palace lies where the vulture’s gaze falls, so Fang Yuan’s direction seems correct. In that life, central continent invaded northern plains and struck Immortal Court blessed land first, and the unprepared land was breached, its sacred palace ruined and Eighty-Eight True Yang Building destroyed. Many Gu Masters stand on the summit, some of them familiar, so Fang Yuan descends with his wolf group. Pan Ping and Zhu Zai greet him, and the rest kneel. Pan Ping is now rank four peak stage, and with sole blade Gu his strength matches some rank five Gu Masters. Zhu Zai, a strength path rank five Gu Master separated from Gao Yang on entering, argued with Pan Ping on the way to the sacred palace. In Ma tribe army, Fang Yuan’s prestige is highest, recognized as the number one person of this generation and above Hei Lou Lan and Ye Lui Sang. ^{ch. 550}

Fang Yuan asks which inheritance they found. Someone discovered it but lacked strength, called others, and lost several people, and Pan Ping and Zhu Zai, invited later, competed until it became a stalemate. Pan Ping explains that it opens every seven days as a starlight door, for an extremely short time, while insect groups block entry. Zhu Zai, for all the Gu Masters, asks Fang Yuan to uphold justice. Fang Yuan agrees and takes charge. ^{ch. 550}

When the door opens, insect groups mixed with wild Gu hover near it without attacking, which is clearly a test. Fang Yuan judges it not difficult, and sees that Pan Ping and Zhu Zai’s dispute has split the Gu Masters. Under his orders they attack in segments and draw the insects away. After a dozen or so breaths the defense line has a huge gap. Pan Ping and Zhu Zai praise him, but he orders them to hold the insects back and rushes into the door with his wolf group. He leaves large numbers of azure wolves around the entrance to guard his escape route. ^{ch. 550}

The Gu Masters outside are furious but dare not say so. A rank three Gu Master urges Pan Ping to charge in, and Pan Ping kicks him away. The gap is jammed with azure wolves, including two myriad wolf kings, so Pan Ping cannot break through. He mocks Zhu Zai that this is the result of asking Wolf King to uphold justice. Zhu Zai sees that Pan Ping wants an alliance against the wolves and refuses inwardly, not daring to act against even one ordinary night wolf. ^{ch. 550}

Inside, Fang Yuan finds a courtyard built completely of blue metal in a strange abstract shape belonging to no style of the five regions. He searches its six rooms and finds no mechanisms for tests or traps. He receives the entire inheritance and learns that over a hundred years ago the master was Du Min Jun, the famous Poet Immortal of northern plains. Du Min Jun, called Vagrant Lone Star, was a rank five Gu Master who travelled alone, never married, and rejected every pursuer. Unable to endure the melancholy in his heart, he built his final residence on Xing Jiu peak and ended his own life, leaving countless poems. ^{ch. 550}

The inheritance is extremely valuable. Its emotion poetry Gu stores emotions and, like painting idea Gu, is a wisdom path Gu, extremely rare and very expensive. The inheritance also holds large numbers of star path Gu worms, basically all the star path Gu of northern plains. Du Min Jun founded a set of Gu recipes, from rank one a bit of star Gu to rank five five stars aligned Gu. The set raises star path Gu’s effects by a huge degree, like a non-mainstream amplify effect Gu but with a much higher success rate and extremely common materials. If the recipes spread, they would definitely cause a huge rise in the popularity of star path Gu and have some influence on all Gu Master paths. ^{ch. 550}
