One of them says Spirit Butterfly Valley’s Xiao Qi Xing is pretty good and takes him to be the great-grandson of Xiao Bai Hong. After Feng Jin Huang enters the opened Hu Immortal Inheritance, Xiao Qi Xing, Ying Sheng Ji, and others follow before many remaining disciples, including Fang Zheng. ^{ch. 365}

He Feng Yang later lists Spirit Butterfly Valley’s Xiao Qi Xing with Myriad Dragon Dock’s Ying Sheng Ji and Spirit Affinity House’s Feng Jin Huang as youngsters Immortal Crane Sect cannot contend with, and says that is why Immortal Crane Sect had to do this. ^{ch. 375}

When Immortal Crane Sect moves against Hu Immortal Blessed Land, Rainbow Butterfly Immortal Concubine Han Cai Xin speaks for Spirit Butterfly Valley among the watching Gu Immortals of the other nine great sects on Tian Ti mountain. She argues from Spirit Butterfly Valley’s investigation that Fang Yuan refined Fixed Immortal Travel in Three Kings blessed land and that a mastermind likely stands behind a mortal holding Hu Immortal blessed land. ^{ch. 700}

Shi Zheng Yi places the rank seven water path Gu Immortal Mu Ling Lan as one of Spirit Butterfly Valley’s own, a sect he takes to be the most skilled in information path. ^{ch. 1233}

Spirit Butterfly Valley nurtures the Four Xunzi, keeps them hidden, and does not deploy them lightly. Heavenly Court arrangements in the River of Time force the valley to comply, and the Four Xunzi are named the best candidates to control Present and Past Pavilion. ^{ch. 1629} Later they appear as rank seven time path quadruplets, three male and one female, guarding that Immortal Gu House on the River of Time. ^{ch. 1753}

Mountain Tortoise Valley is named as the largest mountain tortoise breeding ground in Central Continent and as a resource point governed by Spirit Butterfly Valley of the ten great ancient sects. When its guarding Gu Immortal is drawn away to protect a Refinement Path Convention area, a demonic path Gu Immortal moves to plunder the tortoises left behind warning methods. ^{ch. 1701}

A later list of sect recommendations names Spirit Butterfly Valley’s choice as Xiao Qi Xing among other Central Continent ten-sect nominees. ^{ch. 1970}
