Shang Xunzi

Jun Shen Guang’s information places all Four Xunzi at rank seven with a combination technique strong enough to contest a rank eight for a short time. Spirit Butterfly Valley keeps them hidden and does not deploy them lightly. Heavenly Court arrangements in the River of Time force the valley to comply, and the four are the best candidates to control Present and Past Pavilion. ^{ch. 1629}

Inside the pavilion during Fang Yuan’s first clash, Shang Xunzi lets out a breath once they stabilize the fight and says they have gotten past the initial period without a breakthrough. Fang Yuan later breaks Present and Past Pavilion apart; the Four Xunzi are dead or injured and kicked into the River of Time. ^{ch. 1629}

Shang Xunzi sprawls on Eternal Yacht’s deck, coughing and drenched. Xia Xunzi has fainted with severe injuries. Qing Ye says the other two have been swept away. Shang Xunzi forces himself up, glances at Xia Xunzi, states that those two have already died, and asks first about salvaging Present and Past Pavilion. Narration notes deep kinship among the siblings, yet he is more concerned about the pavilion than the dying Xia Xunzi and shows neither anger nor sadness. ^{ch. 1630}

The quadruplets created a unique killer move from their close bloodline: if three die, one survivor can rapidly revive the other three. Shang Xunzi thanks Qing Ye for a prepared room and goes to revive his siblings. Soon all Four Xunzi return uninjured and reenter battle. ^{ch. 1630}

When Xun Guo Zi dies blocking time cutting edge for Qing Ye, Shang Xunzi smiles and tells Qing Ye not to worry, saying they have a unique method to revive their sister. Qing Ye warns that the method will not work this time. Shang Xunzi refuses to believe time cutting edge has returned. ^{ch. 1633}

Shang Xunzi is again the eldest brother among the Four Xunzi guarding Present and Past Pavilion for Spirit Butterfly Valley. They are not Heavenly Court members, yet Fairy Zi Wei promoted them personally. He gasps at a ripple on a folding-screen panel, then grows embarrassed when repeated checks find nothing. ^{ch. 1753}

When Myriad Year Flying Warship appears, the Four Xunzi report to Fairy Zi Wei and wait for her command. After she orders them to delay Fang Yuan, Shang Xunzi shouts to increase the intensity as waves fail to stop the ship. Present and Past Pavilion’s sawtooth whirlpool briefly holds it, then fails as the warship breaks free and charges. ^{ch. 1805}

Myriad Year Flying Warship shatters Present and Past Pavilion. The Four Xunzi cough blood into the River of Time and, without the pavilion’s protection, are all killed by Fang Yuan shortly afterward. ^{ch. 1806}
