Chapter 1753

Fang Yuan emerges from a mystical light on a grassland in Northern Plains with Ying Wu Xie, Fairy Miao Yin and Lady White Rabbit. After the rebirth, Fairy Miao Yin, Lady White Rabbit and Sixth Hair, a spy inside Lang Ya Sect, have not been sacrificed yet and are alive. His three companions go into his sovereign immortal aperture to cultivate. The remaining Shadow Sect Gu Immortals there help him assemble the battle formation Omni-directional Travel, which makes up for his weakness in movement. It replaced Fixed Immortal Travel after he lost it, but its aura draws attention, so he went around several super forces. ^{ch. 1753}

In the previous life Fang Yuan stole rank seven Fixed Immortal Travel from Feng Jiu Ge with great thief ghost hand in the battle of Lang Ya. That method needs luck, and he wonders how to secure the Gu this time. Spring Autumn Cicada carried his information and killer moves back, but his luck fell drastically. His luck path gains from exploring Imperial Court blessed land and destroying Eighty-Eight True Yang Building are far less than the world thinks. Meng Tu and Sleeping Lady were weaker than he is, so lower luck did not matter. ^{ch. 1753}

After the two kills, Fang Yuan holds three of the main materials for myriad self Immortal Gu and needs only floating life fire. He expects Central Continent Gu Immortal Zhang Ji to sell it in treasure yellow heaven and plans to buy a bit. On a plain he hesitates, then activates burning soul bursting luck to play safe before entering the River of Time. His soul foundation is not high. His luck rises but stays below the previous life’s level, since Spring Autumn Cicada lowers luck as cultivation rises. ^{ch. 1753}

He circles the plain, activates the natural formation and vanishes into the immortal formation Shadow Sect built over a natural tributary of the River of Time. A time path immortal killer move he created days ago conceals his existence and guards against deductions. He jumps into the tributary and swims into the main river. ^{ch. 1753}

Present and Past Pavilion, an Immortal Gu House open on all four sides, floats above the River of Time. In it are the Four Xunzi from Central Continent’s Spirit Butterfly Valley, rank seven time path quadruplets whom Fairy Zi Wei promoted personally though they are not Heavenly Court members. Lord Huang Shi’s death left Heavenly Court short of time path experts, because Fang Yuan got rid of him with the Red Lotus true inheritance that Spectral Soul found. Shang Xunzi thinks he saw a ripple on the folding screen, but tens of inspections find nothing. Shang Xunzi is a little embarrassed, and Zhong Xunzi consoles him that the four can defeat a peak rank seven Fang Yuan even without the pavilion. Xun Guo Zi giggles that as long as she survives, her brothers will be revived even if all of them die. Laughter fills the pavilion. ^{ch. 1753}

Fang Yuan is inside the River of Time, undetected by the pavilion. Only this one pavilion faces him, because Heavenly Court has not yet assembled the other three time path Immortal Gu Houses. Fang Yuan knows it well: in the previous life he destroyed it twice, killed the Four Xunzi, and soul searched three captured souls. After rebirth he also exchanged for rank seven time path Immortal Gu Time Concealment, which conceals traces. A killer move built around it evades the pavilion, and inside the river his time path killer move is amplified. ^{ch. 1753}

Fang Yuan swims quickly past sudden springs, ripples and at least three immemorial year beasts. Burning soul bursting luck keeps most dangers manageable. He avoids the year beasts because fighting could expose him to the pavilion, and he has no year essence pool to gather forces. Spring Autumn Cicada starts to vibrate, and Fang Yuan finds the stone lotus island. ^{ch. 1753}
