The text states that although she is from the demonic path, she is extremely beautiful, inherited a predecessor’s blessed land, is extremely affluent, and is publicly known as one of the three great fairies in Southern Border’s Gu Immortal world. Ba clan’s Ba Quan Feng adds that she once destroyed two important Ba clan resource points and injured four Ba clan Gu Immortals who chased her. Even a righteous path Qiao clan immortal speaks to her with a fawning tone when bringing her into the formation. ^{ch. 1214}

Qiao Bo meets her again as a demonic path Gu Immortal and the narration restates that she is one of the three great fairies of Southern Border, on par with Qiao Si Liu. ^{ch. 1346} A later scene that brings her before Fang Yuan repeats the same pairing: she and Qiao Si Liu are among the three great fairies, without naming the third fairy in those chapters. ^{ch. 1373}

All along she has been entering the giant dream realm for opportunities. Her soul is often injured there, yet the dream path materials she gathers are not few, and she rejects Wu clan, Qiao clan, and other super forces when they try to buy those materials. ^{ch. 1346}

A formation scene places her as a rank seven Gu Immortal facing Qiao Si Liu, with Hei Lou Lan and Bai Ning Bing at rank six beside her, after Qiao Bo has escorted her into the formation again. ^{ch. 1349} In the chaotic battle that follows she opens with the sight based immortal killer move Curved Moon, then under willow pressure completes her signature immortal killer move Wondrous Hand Profound Sound, gaining four arms that restore her defense and drive sound waves that tear the damaged Gu formation layer. Qiao Si Liu knows that signature move by name and treats the beauty contest between them as part of the fight’s taunting. ^{ch. 1351}

Fang Yuan lists her among usable manpower as cultivating the Profound Sound true inheritance, still one of Southern Border’s three great fairies, and still rank seven with reliable battle strength. ^{ch. 1376} Against Feng Jiu Ge she has already displayed Wondrous Hand Profound Sound, and the assessment states that she cultivates sound path like him. ^{ch. 1421} A much later Demon Judgment Board appraisal by Fang Zheng repeats her rank seven level and Profound Sound true inheritance, and adds that Wondrous Hand Profound Sound can be raised alongside its core Immortal Gu until rank eight, without printing that core Gu’s name. ^{ch. 2061}

When Fang Yuan orders Shadow Sect’s members into his immortal aperture rather than risk them against a rank eight Gu Immortal, Fairy Miao Yin hesitates before complying, obeying mainly because Fang Yuan is Shadow Sect’s leader. ^{ch. 1387}

While Fang Yuan enters Corpse City to recover Western Desert Zombie Alliance’s inheritance, Fairy Miao Yin stands guard outside the sandstorm against intruders. ^{ch. 1394}

Fang Yuan privately notes that Fairy Miao Yin cultivates a Shadow Sect inheritance and is hunted by Southern Border’s righteous path, leaving her no choice but to stand with him. ^{ch. 1444}
