A Southern Border righteous path clan whose Gu Immortals include Old Treeman Ba De, posted at the super formation around the giant dream realm.

Dream realm station

Ba Quan Feng and another Ba clan Gu Immortal watch the immortal opportunity traffic into the defensive Gu formation around the giant dream realm. That second immortal is Old Treeman Ba De: thousands of years old, cultivation stuck at the final step before rank eight, rank seven peak battle strength, and publicly recognized in Southern Border as the number one person under rank eight. ch. 1214

Ba Quan Feng wants a share of the immortal opportunity profits. Ba De refuses to join the business, arguing that staying out leaves Ba clan a hold on the participating clans and a larger claim when the dream realm is split. Ba Quan Feng states that Wu clan has two rank eight Gu Immortals while Ba clan has one, and that Wu clan cooperated with six other clans on the business while treating the remaining six, Ba clan included, as outsiders even though the formation used Immortal Gu from all of them. Ba De expects Wu clan’s first supreme elder to die soon and the Southern Border situation to shift. ch. 1214

Formation share

Thirteen righteous path forces divide the space inside the super Gu formation into thirteen portions. Wu clan occupies one of the largest shares. Ba clan is the only clan comparable to Wu there, and even Tie clan and Shang clan are inferior in that split. After Wu Du Xiu’s death, Ba clan is stirring, and Ba De is the one sent to guard the dream realm. ch. 1223

Pressure at the dream realm formation

Ba clan leads the Gu Immortals at the giant dream realm in troubling Wu clan, and the pressure at the super Gu formation is rising. Wu Yong had meant to send a replacement there, and plays safe by leaving the posting as it is while that pressure holds. ch. 1305

Trouble at the super Gu formation

Wu Fa reports to Wu Yi Hai that an accident has happened at the super Gu formation, that Ba clan has been making trouble for Wu clan, and that Elder Wu Bei, stationed there, is injured and cannot steady the situation. ch. 1321

Ba De’s scheme against Wu Bei

Old Treeman Ba De schemes against Wu clan’s Elder Wu Bei and forces him into a spar, which Ba clan wins and Wu clan loses. Wu Bei still joins the secret discussion with Qiao clan’s and other clans’ Gu Immortals afterward, which leads Wu clan’s Gu Immortals to think his injuries are not serious. His injuries turn out to be severe. Ba De deliberately spares the shared dream realm business from his move, since attacking it would unite the other clans against him. ch. 1322

Wedding dress lake annexation

While Qiao clan’s first supreme elder Qiao Zhi Cai is missing, Ba clan annexes Qiao clan’s wedding dress lake, and Xia clan annexes the empty origin pit. ch. 1346

River junction

At the intersection of red dragon river and jade dragon river, three super force bases sit around a huge whirlpool. Ba clan is south of that junction, with Chai clan’s Human Smoke Mountain to the north and Xia clan to the east. ch. 1347

Super clan list

Southern Border’s righteous path has thirteen super clans, and Ba clan is named in that list with Wu, Shang, Tie, Hou, Luo, Qiao, Chai, Xia, Yi, Chi, Yang, and Yao. ch. 1610
