Seven treasures water

Fang Yuan presses Ba clan for seven treasures water while holding one of their Gu Immortals hostage, and treats delivery of the water as the clan’s required show of sincerity. Spiral dawn light, eight-parts jade, and seven treasures water are gathered together for the year essence pool; the shipment list is described as rank eight materials or rank seven materials in high quantity. ^{ch. 1610}

The water is a plain grey color. Solid bumps like gold, silver, pearls, gems, jades, and agates form naturally in it, but any bump taken out of the water turns back into seven treasures water and splashes down. Fang Yuan purifies it until those bumps melt away and the volume expands, then freezes it into an ice block whose cold air covers one hundred li, after which eight-parts jade is thrown into the fog to finish the year essence pool shell. Like spiral dawn light and eight-parts jade, it has excellent stretchability and merges without self-disintegrating as the pool expands. ^{ch. 1612}
