Wu Fa

Narration states Wu Yong and Wu Fa are acting, not scheming against Fang Yuan, but giving him a way to resolve the Frosty Peak issue peacefully. When Fang Yuan asks to exchange rewards for dragon scale soil, Wu Yong looks at Wu Fa, who thinks briefly and nods. ^{ch. 1313}

When Wu Yong asks, under the clan rules, how to reward Wu Yi Hai for settling the Mount Snail matter, Wu Fa reads the question as a test of his own attitude toward Wu Yi Hai. He answers only that Wu Yi Hai has a lone cultivator background. When Wu Yong turns that into a charge of chasing cheap benefits, Wu Fa disagrees and says the Frosty Peak and Mount Snail benefits are not small, and Wu Yong answers that this is indeed not good for Wu clan. ^{ch. 1316}

He stops Wu Yi Hai after yellow dragon river with new orders from the first supreme elder. With an aged face filled with anxiety he reports Ba clan trouble at the super Gu formation, Wu Bei injured, and Wu Yong’s swap sending Wu Yi Hai back into command. He hands a letter Gu, watches until Wu Yi Hai vanishes, sneers toward Da Peng Mountain (Qiao clan headquarters), then reports success at Wu Yi Mountain. ^{ch. 1321}

Wu Yong sends word ordering Wu Fa to take the relevant Immortal Gu from the treasury and assemble a life location searching Gu formation, placing Wu Yi Hai’s life tablet Gu and soul lantern Gu inside it to deduce his location; Wu Fa accepts the order and immediately acts on it. ^{ch. 1378}

Wu Fa oversees the thousand-worm life location searching formation, no larger than a water vat, as three Wu clan Gu Immortals pour in immortal essence; he tosses Wu Yi Hai’s life tablet Gu and soul lantern Gu into it, and after the strain collapses two of the three immortals, the formation yields a location that Wu Fa relays to Wu Yong. ^{ch. 1380}

Narration calls him Wu Yong’s closest aide and states even he was not aware of Wu Yong’s plan to defend passively first, then retaliate with justification against other Southern Border clans. ^{ch. 1382}
