Chapter 1380

Shadow Sect has been thoroughly beaten. Spectral Soul is captured, and only Ying Wu Xie and Sixth Hair remain as viable split souls, yet it still holds massive resources. These include massive amounts of Immortal Gu recipes, countless immortal killer moves, and twelve construction plans for Immortal Gu Houses. Among them are Profound Ice House, Unbreakable Iron Fortress, Blood River Chariot, Nightmare Castle, Green Wave Pavilion, Weaving Cocoon Manor, Golden Altar, Regret Pool and Sacred Feather City. Spectral Soul’s own true inheritances alone are an enormous gain: soul devouring, split soul, and soul replacement, the method that created the spy Sixth Hair and placed another spy inside Heavenly Court. Fang Yuan agrees Shadow Sect will help, honoring her prior agreement now that he leads. After this round of talks, Fang Yuan gains the group’s genuine acknowledgment as Shadow Sect’s new leader. Only Ying Wu Xie remains dispirited, ignoring everything Fang Yuan says. Purple Mountain True Monarch’s Immortal Gu no longer form a full set and can barely produce wisdom balances calamity, which dispels hidden dangers to oneself and, though poorly suited to his needs, is the strongest method open to him. Meanwhile in Wu clan, supreme elder Wu Fa runs a thousand-Gu location formation, fed by Wu Yi Hai’s life tablet Gu and soul lantern Gu, with three other immortals pouring in their essence. The strain collapses two of them unconscious, and the last opens his eyes and gives a location in extreme exhaustion. Wu Fa relays it to Wu Yong, who concludes his brother was likely captured by Shadow Sect and calls the Southern Border righteous forces to follow him toward Plunder Shadow Earth Trench. At the trench Fang Yuan finds that wisdom balances calamity cannot break the investigative killer move on him and decides he needs a stronger method, when Hei Lou Lan warns him the trench’s Gu formation has suddenly broken and their location is exposed. He is unsurprised, since he controls the formation and already knew. Unpanicked, he already has a plan, and calls everyone to practice the ancient battle formation Omni-directional Travel. ^{ch. 1380}
