At the middle of Book Mountain, Shabi Ninety-five and Ruan Dan work together and push down Dragon Soul Dark Castle. Lady White Rabbit leads the immortals inside; she stops charging and returns to the base of the mountain to join Fairy Miao Yin. ^{ch. 2179}

Bing Sai Chuan sees Profound Frost House, Dragon Soul Dark Castle, Red River Pavilion, and Red Heavenly Altar leave the mountain; Dragon Soul Dark Castle and Red Heavenly Altar then charge toward Heavenly Court’s immortal graveyard to free up Zhan Bu Du elsewhere. Before Duke Mei and Duke Tong, dry tough vines bind both houses and begin absorbing immortal essence from their storages; dragon roars come from Dragon Soul Dark Castle and snap the vines away. Duke Tong’s bronze rings then immobilize the houses until a dragon soul appears from within Dragon Soul Dark Castle and, after several attempts, destroys the bronze ring. Fairy Miao Yin and Lady White Rabbit fly out to attack the dukes, and the freed houses charge the immortal graveyard until Uncle Feng holds them off. Immortals in Dragon Soul Dark Castle claim Uncle Feng has already been hit by their method; he spat soul fragments under a soul path injury, then Fairy Maiden Soul heals him, and later Seven Fiendish Primeval Monarch’s rugged fiendish qi mountains keep Red Heavenly Altar and Dragon Soul Dark Castle from breaking through. ^{ch. 2181}

Fang Yuan later counts that the seven Immortal Gu Houses he took out in Crazed Demon Cave, including Rising Cloud City, were all lost. ^{ch. 2215}
