Myriad Self Immortal Gu

The recipe needs an enormous amount of edge Gu, plus drinking blade wine from under autumn blade plain. ^{ch. 1563} Fang Yuan steals hundreds of edge Gu there while taking drinking blade wine. ^{ch. 1565} Drinking blade wine, edge Gu, front-back divine obstruction needles, and floating life fire are named as the four main immortal materials gathered for the work. ^{ch. 1569} Several hundred rank three self reliance Gu, a strength path Gu whose healing grows with its user’s strength, are the first Gu into the formation, in a strictly calculated quantity because the numbers of dao marks have to be precise when refining an Immortal Gu. In the Long Hair refinement, Third Hair pours drinking blade wine over rock fragments, floating life fire fuses with all-out effort Gu and grey smoke, and front-back divine obstruction needles go in with other immortal materials and mortal Gu. ^{ch. 1570}

When he injects immortal essence, the Gu shines and countless Fang Yuan strength path phantoms appear from the light, like using the killer move Myriad Self. Fang Yuan feels the effect is only slightly weaker than the killer move, while immortal essence cost falls greatly and activation needs only one thought instead of the preparation time and mental energy the move demanded. ^{ch. 1570}

With Myriad Self Immortal Gu, Myriad Self Giant Hand becomes much easier: the new version uses this Immortal Gu as core with group strength Gu and fewer than thirty Gu in total, and no longer needs Self Strength Immortal Gu as core. Reverse Flow Protection Seal also becomes simpler with Myriad Self Immortal Gu among its cores. Fang Yuan’s deeper aim is to use the Gu as a bridge toward Luo Po Seal, and narration says condensing Myriad Self into an Immortal Gu raises the room for creating a new path along that line. ^{ch. 1571}
