Drinking blade wine

Myriad Self Immortal Gu’s recipe needs an enormous amount of edge Gu and, more importantly, this special rank seven immortal material from deep under autumn blade plain. The wine is not produced naturally. It forms when Meng Tu’s bloodstains seep deep into the ground and merge with the place’s blade path dao marks. Fang Yuan confirms the plain holds only a modest quantity and that he needs only a small amount for the recipe. ^{ch. 1563}

Before he steals bladewing Immortal Gu, Fang Yuan secretly takes the drinking blade wine from deep underground, and in the same pass casually steals hundreds of edge Gu. ^{ch. 1565}

Drinking blade wine, edge Gu, front-back divine obstruction needles, and floating life fire are named as the four main immortal materials gathered for Myriad Self Immortal Gu. ^{ch. 1569}

During Lang Ya Sect’s Long Hair refinement, Third Hair pours the drinking blade wine over rock fragments left from earlier steps. The wine turns those fragments into traces of grey smoke. Narration notes Fang Yuan obtained this wine not long before, when he killed Meng Tu. ^{ch. 1570}

After killing Meng Tu with Luo Po seal, Fang Yuan loots autumn blade plain. The drinking blade wine buried underground is his main goal, and he collects it along with a vast number of mortal edge Gu. Because Meng Tu dies before self-detonating, the plain’s later blade-path enrichment from that detonation does not occur, and Fang Yuan sweeps the site bare. Drinking blade wine, edge Gu, front-back divine obstruction needle, and floating life fire are again named as the four main immortal materials for Myriad Self Immortal Gu; with the wine and edge Gu in hand, only the needles and the fire remain. ^{ch. 1752}
