In Starry Sky grotto-heaven she names Self Strength when launching that offensive move, and later names self strength Immortal Gu when she is about to push the same fight further. ^{ch. 714} Hei Lou Lan uses Immortal Gu Self Strength to activate her former mortal killer move and form a giant strength path phantom, which the text treats as barely an immortal killer move. ^{ch. 720} Fang Yuan later places Self Strength at the center of myriad self’s first style, giant hand. ^{ch. 782}

Fang Yuan notes that if he obtained it, he could use it as the core and elevate the power of myriad self by several levels. ^{ch. 765}

Fang Yuan demands Self Strength Immortal Gu as compensation for saving Hei Lou Lan, calling it extremely compatible with his immortal killer move myriad self. Fang Yuan recalls that she refined Self Strength Immortal Gu during her immortal ascension. ^{ch. 777}

Hei Lou Lan hands the Gu over on the spot, and ownership changes. ^{ch. 778} Under a later agreement with Blazing Heaven Demoness’s side, he returns Self Strength Immortal Gu to Hei Lou Lan, and she refines it rapidly. ^{ch. 948} After Spring Autumn Cicada rebirth, his Immortal Gu inventory includes Self Strength again. ^{ch. 972}

When he offers it in a trade, the Gu carries huge significance for Hei Lou Lan, and she treats it as rank six. ^{ch. 974} He then trades Self Strength Immortal Gu for slavery Immortal Gu and a one year loan of attitude Gu. ^{ch. 975} In a later batch transfer he obtains Hei Lou Lan’s self strength Immortal Gu again. ^{ch. 1079}
