Wei Wu Shang

In the fight he represents Heaven’s Envy Sect as well as himself while Fairy Bi Xia watches. He activates injury wind Gu as a hidden trump card; Lord Sky Crane warns Fang Zheng that the light breeze is terrifying. When his primeval essence runs dry he admits defeat, then Fang Zheng offers a surface draw. Wei Wu Shang accepts in public, privately transmits that he will repay the leniency, will not concede Fairy Bi Xia, and warns Fang Zheng of four further admirer rivals: Heaven River Chen Da Jiang, Rising Purple Lightning Gu Ting, Nine Death Sorrowful Wind Tang Ru Qi, and Tigress Zhao Shu Ye. ^{ch. 341}

During the Hu Immortal blessed land contest, narration places Fang Zheng, Fairy Bi Xia, Gu Ting, and Wei Wu Shang as only second tier among this generation of elite disciples of the ten great sects, below first-tier disciples such as Feng Jin Huang, Ying Sheng Ji, and Xiao Qi Xing. ^{ch. 366}

In a Starry Sky grotto-heaven fragment, he leads Heaven’s Envy Manor’s elite disciple group. Narration says he was infatuated with Fairy Bi Xia, once fought Fang Zheng and lost, kept reputation through Fang Zheng’s draw offer, and felt he owed a favor. He was originally rank four middle stage; Heaven’s Envy Manor specially raised him to rank four peak stage for that resource contest. ^{ch. 909}

Trapped on the lake island with four old Gu Masters of Heaven’s Envy Manor, he alone shows shining eyes when Elder Zhu Ning admits he cannot retrieve the Immortal Gu the sect entrusted to him, and says it would be great to obtain an Immortal Gu of his own one day. The four look at him and either smile bitterly or shake their heads, because he is too young. ^{ch. 910}

On a Heavenly Court list of Gu Immortal seeds with great talent and aptitude, Heaven’s Envy Manor has Wei Wu Shang beside Immortal Crane Sect’s Sun Yuan Hua, Spirit Butterfly Valley’s Xiao Qi Xing, and Ancient Soul Sect’s Gu Ting. ^{ch. 1970}

When divine bean soldiers appear, he calmly analyzes them as products of Divine Bean Palace that Gu Immortals can raise as wood path soldiers, recalling Western Desert’s earlier use against Central Continent’s ten great ancient sects, then admits the painting world’s secrets remain unclear. He joins Xiao Qi Xing’s temporary force with the other seeds. ^{ch. 2011} Later he counts over five hundred human path Gu worms Xiao Qi Xing accumulated, urges the group to continue after clearing one painting, and moves through chaotic battle appearing and disappearing like a fish in water. ^{ch. 2012}
