Effect
When activated, a large amount of the user’s blood is rapidly corrupted. Thin vines grow out of that blood, pierce the skin, and coil around the body; flower buds on the vines blossom into pretty blue flowers resembling chrysanthemums. Lord Sky Crane states that the demon flowers greatly increase the effects of the user’s blood path Gu worms. The pain is extreme: even iron blood Gu cannot resist it, and the user’s blood can boil until cold blood Gu cools it. ch. 669
Training use
In the same drills, Fang Zheng keeps iron blood Gu and blood blade Gu active, then uses blood merge Gu before failed blood demon flower Gu, then cold blood Gu and blood sense Gu. The flower step sits after blood merge and before cold blood in that chain. ch. 669
Hu Immortal attack
During the live attempt, Fang Zheng activates failed blood demon flower Gu so his flesh and blood become soil and nutrients for the demon flower; vines coil around him and blue chrysanthemums blossom while iron blood Gu again fails to blunt the pain. Lord Sky Crane restates that the Gu can enhance blood path Gu worms when blood sense Gu still finds nothing. ch. 698 After a concealed trump card fires, Fang Zheng loses consciousness but keeps activating failed blood demon flower Gu with blood sense Gu; the failed blood demon flowers grow rapidly, vines thicken, and his body becomes nourishment until little of his original appearance remains. ch. 699 A later summary states that Lord Sky Crane plotted against him and he lost control of failed blood demon flower Gu, lost too much blood, and his soul went to the verge of collapse into deep unconsciousness while helping He Feng Yang attack Hu Immortal blessed land. ch. 711
