Activation light
When used over Fang Zheng it lets out a grey light pillar; the smoke-like light covers him and is soon dyed red with his blood. ch. 699
Effect
Immortal Gu Mutual Sense allows two parties to sense each other’s situation. Linked with Fang Zheng through blood sense Gu, Fang Yuan senses the blood pool, Fang Zheng’s body, failed blood demon flowers, a spirit incubating flea, and the Mutual Sense Gu above, while Fang Zheng can only see through Fang Yuan’s eyes with limited perception and cannot sense Fang Yuan’s immortal aperture. Fang Yuan tells Hei Lou Lan and Fairy Li Shan that the other side used his brother and Mutual Sense to get his location. ch. 699
Blood pool recall
Fang Yuan later recalls that Fang Zheng’s earlier Mutual Sense link let him learn Fang Zheng’s predicament and see the blood pool and demon flowers growing on that body. ch. 745
