Kinship Bloodworm

Facing First gen Gu Yue, the Kinship Bloodworm points toward him. Lord Sky Crane says he refined it from the heart blood of First gen Gu Yue’s two sons: they were only five to six years old, so he turned them into living sources and took blood every month for tens of years before the refine finished; both sons died soon after. He adds that even as a rank five Gu its range is limited, and for a long time he could not find the target in a world that large. ^{ch. 192}

After breaking free of the ice, Lord Sky Crane finds Fang Zheng and judges from the likeness that Fang Zheng and Fang Yuan are extremely likely twins. With Fang Yuan’s close relative in his hands, he could refine the Kinship Blood worm. He treats saving Fang Zheng as his only remaining hope for his teacher’s assignment. ^{ch. 199}

Before He Feng Yang, Lord Sky Crane says he has made Fang Zheng his pupil and will teach him and refine the bloodkin worm. He means to incite Fang Zheng to kill his brother and retrieve the blood skull gu for Immortal Crane Sect. He confirms Fang Zheng is the twin of the escaped Fang Yuan. He says Fang Zheng, shown a video of Fang Yuan slaughtering their clansmen, hates his brother enough to kill him on the spot. He has already given up his lifetime’s savings and Gu worms for a spirit incubating flea. ^{ch. 211}
