Unravel Mystery

After refining enough dream path mortal Gu in Hu Immortal blessed land, Fang Yuan uses Unravel Mystery as the core and forms the immortal killer move Unravel Dream. Activating the move ends with green grape immortal essence and Unravel Mystery; light from the Gu converts through the dream path Gu formation into green-purple light in his pupils. ^{ch. 773} Unravel Mystery can be used repeatedly in that setup, but the supplementary dream path mortal Gu are expended with continuous use. ^{ch. 915} The move uses Unravel Mystery as a wisdom path core in place of a dream path Immortal Gu, so each use burns many dream path mortal Gu. ^{ch. 763 ch. 915}

Its effect is to help a Gu Immortal think and solve puzzles and mysteries. Against a battlefield killer move treated as a puzzle, the Gu would be helpful in principle, but alone it cannot unravel such moves. ^{ch. 904}

Fang Yuan modifies star fog concealment with the light of wisdom, and in the modified move Unravel Mystery replaces the second of its two core Immortal Gu beside Star Thought Immortal Gu. By then his wisdom path attainment is grandmaster, and the Gu he could not use well before starts to display its capabilities. ^{ch. 987}

A Gu formation that uses the light of wisdom, Mo Yao’s fake will, Woman’s Heart, and Unravel Mystery refines Bo Qing’s Immortal Gu. ^{ch. 997} Fang Yuan later names that arrangement the wisdom refinement formation, with Woman’s Heart and Unravel Mystery as cores plus large numbers of supplementary mortal Gu. ^{ch. 1083} For a stretch it is Fang Yuan’s only wisdom path Immortal Gu, and without matching wisdom path killer moves it has little use on its own. ^{ch. 1232} An inventory from that later period lists Unravel Mystery among his rank six Immortal Gu. ^{ch. 1461}
