Star Constellation Chessboard

Narration calls it possibly the smallest Immortal Gu House in the world. When Fairy Zi Wei activates the chessboard it changes into crystal starlight that fills the sky, moves like fireflies, surrounds her, and assimilates her body into that starlight. The starlight then infiltrates a super Gu formation, weakening its colored lights and making control sluggish as she contests Fang Yuan for the formation. ^{ch. 1360}

The house had stayed in Heavenly Court’s treasury until Duke Long had the authority to take it out for Fairy Zi Wei. After using it she finds that this wisdom path Immortal Gu House created by Star Constellation Immortal Venerable lets her deduction ability rise by many times. Star Constellation Immortal Venerable had died long ago. Fairy Zi Wei can control the house now, but she is merely borrowing it. The chessboard then absorbs her immortal essence and activates on its own. A lump of heaven’s will gushes out and turns into Star Constellation Immortal Venerable’s appearance. Star Constellation heaven’s will later tells Duke Long and Fairy Zi Wei to bring Heaven Overseeing Tower and Star Constellation Chessboard to the coming fight. ^{ch. 1365}

Covered in Star Constellation Chessboard’s power, Fairy Zi Wei finally destroys Purple Mountain True Monarch’s will and completes her goal of grasping control over the super Gu formation. ^{ch. 1375}

Fairy Zi Wei tells Duke Long that even if Fang Yuan found the investigative killer move on him, it was activated with the help of Immortal Gu House Star Constellation Chessboard, and that this was the method Star Constellation Immortal Venerable used in the past. ^{ch. 1379}

Fairy Zi Wei remains in Central Continent’s Heavenly Court, yet with an investigative killer move and Star Constellation Chessboard she observes an entire battlefield clearly. When she wills it, the image on the chessboard changes to another battle. ^{ch. 1401}

Fang Yuan guesses that the investigative killer move on him was created by Fairy Zi Wei using Star Constellation Chessboard, because the house belonged to Star Constellation Immortal Venerable. Fairy Zi Wei is confident because this is Star Constellation Chessboard’s method and also the killer move created personally by Star Constellation Immortal Venerable, Inextinguishable Star Target. Compared with other investigative killer moves, Inextinguishable Star Target can only locate the target’s position, an effect inferior on its own to the method she used on Feng Jiu Ge, which lets the chessboard display the target’s situation. Its greatest effect is that it can regenerate endlessly, and normal methods cannot get rid of it properly. ^{ch. 1408}

After Heavenly Court’s chaotic heart drumming sound partly gets through his reverse flow protection seal, Fang Yuan finds Heavenly Court’s gains in deciphering it unsurprising, since he has already used the seal many times and Heavenly Court has wisdom path great experts like Fairy Zi Wei together with Star Constellation Chessboard. ^{ch. 1426}

When rank eight Immortal Gu House Soul Suppression Hall is destroyed by Dang Hun Mountain’s self-detonation, Fairy Zi Wei is completely unharmed. Dazzling starlight surrounds her like a thin veil of stardust: Immortal Gu House Star Constellation Chessboard, personally created by Star Constellation Immortal Venerable. She judges that if the chessboard had not taken the initiative to protect her, she would have been heavily injured even if she lived, and that the chessboard also suffered a lot of damage. ^{ch. 1553} Soon after, the damaged house would not be of much use for some time. ^{ch. 1555}

During Heavenly Court’s attack on Lang Ya blessed land, Fang Yuan wonders why Fairy Zi Wei is not using Star Constellation Chessboard. She sighs internally that it was left in Heavenly Court to sustain the killer move star cast, and that otherwise she could unravel the super immortal formation with dozens of times the efficiency. ^{ch. 1573}

Heavenly Court’s most important goal in that Lang Ya invasion is wild rank nine Wisdom Gu. Narration states that with just this Wisdom Gu, Star Constellation Chessboard would become a rank nine Immortal Gu House and its power would rise sharply, an advantage enough for Fairy Zi Wei to come personally. ^{ch. 1575}

Fairy Zi Wei’s Star Constellation Chessboard is a rank eight Immortal Gu House created by Star Constellation Immortal Venerable, set against Calamity Luck Altar, created by Giant Sun Immortal Venerable. An immortal killer move amplified by the chessboard is extraordinary enough that even Calamity Luck Altar cannot ignore it. The chessboard she controls is tiny and can be held in one hand. Compared with it, Calamity Luck Altar is huge and blocks the formation entirely, which gives the altar an advantage. ^{ch. 1715}

When Fang Yuan finishes rank six Cooking Luck Pot, narration says that house cannot carry Gu Immortals into battle, is tiny, and has another use. In fact, it is quite similar to Star Constellation Chessboard. ^{ch. 1823}

In Present and Past Pavilion, Xia Xunzi says Star Constellation Immortal Venerable was not a time path Gu Immortal, yet her wisdom path methods could mimic time path and use a tributary of the River of Time to deduce many future events. She predicted that the seven Lui Gui siblings would create the first Immortal Gu House in history, Turtle House, and thus created Star Constellation Chessboard. ^{ch. 1754}

Fang Yuan deduces that a formation in Heavenly Court has Star Constellation Chessboard as its core, together with the countless stars scattered in the sky. The formation’s power is projected onto those stars, using them as a springboard to create a large scale star cast effect. ^{ch. 1928}

In Crazed Demon Cave, stardust forms vertical and horizontal starry paths into a grand chessboard. Heavenly Court, Fang Yuan, Longevity Heaven, and other Gu Immortals sit inside it, with the Crazed Demon formation at the center. Paradise Earth realizes that Star Constellation Chessboard was an Immortal Gu House as well as an immortal formation, and that there are no records of this transformation. Star Constellation Immortal Venerable answers that she modified it after she regained her Dao Lord status. Heavenly Court members become formation cores of Star Constellation Chessboard Formation under her control. ^{ch. 2198}

On Book Mountain, enemies who near the peak see a tiny and delicate Immortal Gu House: a chessboard-looking house, Star Constellation Chessboard. It radiates starlight. Any enemy that approaches the peak is enveloped by starlight and forcefully teleported elsewhere. Fairy Feng Ya has to multitask and control the chessboard, and Heavenly Court keeps modifying that killer move to a mild extent so it still works. The house also shoots a beam of light that takes Bai Cang Shui away through gaps in another Immortal Gu House. ^{ch. 2182}

Star Constellation Chessboard appears above Star Constellation Immortal Venerable’s head. A large number of pieces fly out of the chessboard, hit flaming meteors, and destroy them before they can pierce the heavenly wind qi wall and land in Central Continent. ^{ch. 2235}

Above Qi Sea Ancestor’s head, Star Constellation Chessboard orbits and releases a pale blue light that envelops his body while Star Constellation Immortal Venerable controls him in Heavenly Court. After she finishes her wisdom path methods on the resulting qi harvest fruit, she carefully draws Star Constellation Chessboard away from the location. ^{ch. 2327}
