Che Wei is a Heavenly Court rank eight Gu Immortal who fights with weapon-shaped killer moves and is later named as the creator of weapon path.

On the Heavenly Court battlefield inside a Gu refinement formation, Heavenly Court’s rank eight Che Wei shouts “Spear” and sends a gigantic black spear the size of an ancient tree at Five Elements Grandmaster, then shouts “Arrow” and rains countless arrows. Five Elements Grandmaster says Che Wei is about to create a new path and that the killer moves are interesting, yet still cannot break five elements ring. Che Wei ignores him, takes a large blade, and charges into close combat. ch. 1717

Weapon path creator

Fang Yuan lists painting path, weapon path, and others among attainment levels that are completely blank for him. Narration says these paths are rare: painting path was intentionally concealed by Genesis Lotus Immortal Venerable, while weapon path was crudely created by Heavenly Court’s Gu Immortal Che Wei recently. ch. 2154

Mature methods

When Xiao He Jian and Ice Crystal Immortal Monarch meet Heavenly Court’s Che Wei and Wan Zi Hong, a reinforcement letter says they are in great danger. Narration states that Che Wei created weapon path, that his methods are getting more mature, and that his status is only below Qin Ding Ling. ch. 2178

Endless spears

In the fight between pseudo venerables and Heavenly Court Gu Immortals, Che Wei shouts “Endless spears” and countless spears shoot out around him like a dense forest. Lu Wei Yin charges through, grabs with a yellowish-brown giant hand, and presses Che Wei into meat paste, saying that without Star Constellation Chessboard Formation even unparalleled talent cannot block him. ch. 2206
