Zhao Pu is a blood path demonic Gu Immortal who guards the tenth snowy peak against Zhao Lian Yun and Yu Yi Ye Zi.
Narration names him the demonic path Gu Immortal guarding the tenth snowy peak. He stands still with arms folded, calls newcomers people looking for death, and answers falling meteors with a bloody cloud umbrella before shooting at Zhao Lian Yun as a red ray of light. He also uses sound path methods that catch her unprepared. ch. 1262
Appearance
He wears hemp clothes and cloth shoes, is bald, has an ordinary appearance, and is of middling stature. When he smiles he reveals dense and sharp teeth. ch. 1262
Blood Drain
Zhao Pu’s immortal killer move is Blood Drain. Rather than activate it directly, which the vigilant Zhao Lian Yun would sense and disturb or evade, he splits Blood Drain into multiple parts and releases them as he fights, so its activation carries no tell. Zhao Pu says that once his move has struck, normal methods are useless unless he cancels the effect himself, and Yu Yi Ye Zi deduces that killing him will heal their injuries on its own. ch. 1263
Death on the peak
Zhao Pu is unwilling to fight to the death and needs only to delay to win. So for a moment Zhao Lian Yun and Yu Yi Ye Zi suppress him instead. His battle experience far exceeds that of the two Central Continent immortals, and he stays slippery enough that neither can catch him. An intense radiance bursts from Zhao Lian Yun’s body, and love Immortal Gu directly kills Zhao Pu. ch. 1264
Confirmed dead
Zhao Pu is already dead, and Blood Drain on Zhao Lian Yun and Yu Yi Ye Zi also dissipates. Without that dissipation both of them would surely have followed Zhao Pu into death. Yu Yi Ye Zi says love Gu probably consumed Zhao Lian Yun’s lifespan to burst with the power that killed Zhao Pu, and he reflects that he would have died in Zhao Pu’s hands without her. ch. 1266
