Blood Drain

During the fight at the snowy peak, Yu Yi Ye Zi warns Zhao Lian Yun that Zhao Pu’s blood can splash into a stream; once that stream touches skin, bleeding worsens with time. ^{ch. 1262} Zhao Pu later names the move Blood Drain. ^{ch. 1263}

Split activation

Direct activation would be obvious to a vigilant foe. Zhao Pu instead uses a split move, dividing the killer move into parts he releases while fighting so the full Blood Drain effect lands without a clear activation tell. Earlier failed strikes on life locking silver chain were cover while those parts assembled. ^{ch. 1263}

Effect and end condition

Hit targets bleed from the mouth, then nose, ears, and eyes, with vision blurring as blood fills the eyes. Yu Yi Ye Zi deduces that killing Zhao Pu ends the injuries; when Zhao Pu dies, the Blood Drain on Zhao Lian Yun and Yu Yi Ye Zi dissipates. ^{ch. 1263 ch. 1266}
