Kong Sheng Tian

Wu clan supreme elder Wu Zhan Ping describes him to Wu Ji as a qi path Gu Immortal famous in Gu Master history who specialized most in movement methods, the creator of the killer move Kong Sheng Tian and the original owner of Qi Escape Immortal Gu, once fourth on the List of Mystical Gu before Fang Yuan’s Spring Autumn Cicada displaced it. The true inheritance he left behind, Sheng Tian true inheritance, is one of three that Wu clan offers its rank five Gu Immortal seed Wu Ji, and Wu Zhan Ping notes that its Immortal Gu are likely already in the hands of Kong Sheng Tian’s own descendant, Kong Ri Tian. ^{ch. 2096}

Cornered by a pursuing Wu clan Gu Immortal at Rotten Mud Mountain, Kong Ri Tian is saved when Kong Sheng Tian’s will floats out of Sheng Tian true inheritance and opens a secret tunnel down to Hu Land, a secluded domain of heaven and earth that Kong Sheng Tian’s will says his main body spent a hundred years tracking down, at a time when his body was already too old to live much longer. The will explains that Hu Land pairs with his signature killer move, letting anyone inside scatter and fly out at extreme speed, and calls Hu Land the qi path counterpart to Xi Land; a demonic path Gu Immortal himself, he approves of Kong Ri Tian’s ruthless promise of future revenge against Wu Ji and Shang Xin Ci. Because Kong Ri Tian is only a Gu Master, he cannot carry Hu Land away when the will’s killer move scatters the group to safety, so it is left behind for the pursuing Wu clan to claim. ^{ch. 2098}

Kong Sheng Tian’s will decides to save the fleeing Central Continent four great obscenities and the amnesiac Wang Xiao Er from Wu clan’s pursuit using Hu Land, judging the mortals’ worth by whether helping them is profitable. He investigates Wang Xiao Er’s condition himself but concludes he cannot treat it, then hides Kong Ri Tian’s presence from Wang Xiao Er rather than get involved further, activating Hu Land so quietly that the pursuing Wu clan Gu Immortal notices nothing until it is too late. ^{ch. 2099}

Kong Sheng Tian’s will personally guides Kong Ri Tian through his immortal ascension, warning him beforehand not to be greedy during natural inspiration and to ask only qi path questions he can act on. Kong Ri Tian survives a three-day flying ring tribulation that the will attributes to bad luck from provoking Shang Xin Ci’s subordinate Xiao Yan, at the cost of nearly all of the will’s own remaining immortal essence spent protecting him. Once Kong Ri Tian becomes a rank six Gu Immortal, the will warns him that refining an Immortal Gu is far harder than becoming an immortal at all, explains that Sheng Tian true inheritance’s qi path vital Gu still needs refining, and sends him to trade with refinement path venerable Fang Yuan for the help he cannot give himself. ^{ch. 2289}
